I'm interested in learning about some new P&W artists. My personal denominational background is not charismatic; I am a member of an evangelical free church. In my involvement in worship ministry at our church, I have found that much of the more Spirit focused (you may read that "emotional" if you wish) P&W music comes out of the charismatic church. I find that type of music valuable as we work to get our congregation responsive to the Holy Spirit in all areas of their Christian life.

I know of many of the more mainstream P&W artists such as the ones I've listed below. I am hopeful there are others that would be less well known that are also producing great music. The ones I am quite familiar with are:

Hillsong Church and their array of bands (United, Worship, Y&F)
Bethel Church (Bethel Music, Jesus Culture)
Planetshakers
Gateway (Kari Jobe).

Greatly appreciate any others I should check out. If you can link a video that would be a big bonus for me as well!

Rick Pino is really great
Klaus Kheun/Christ for the nations
Deluge/Johnathan Stockstill (look up Worthy by him and another guy, that song will change your life)
Clint Brown
Micah Stampley
IHOP worship
Toronto Airport
Pentecostals of Alexandria (great stuff here)

not in the same vein, this is more of a different taste

Jason Upton (one of my personal favorites)
Misty Edwards

and if you like something with "flavor"

Robin Mark-celtic worship
Darrell Evans-acoustic
Lindell Cooley-southern/gospely feel
Paul Wilbur-messianic worship(really good)
City Harvest Church-think Chinese version of Hillsong, they do Mandarin and English songs, they are really good.

Just remember working up an emotional atmosphere gets old after a while (well i personally find it that way now and prefer other styles of worship that are to me less fake and hypnotic) and besides if you have to make people emotional to feel like they're experiencing something of God then something is wrong. Sincere worship from the heart IMHO is probably more pleasing to God because its real.
