Marry outside of church-how to get blessed?

I think you would have to ask your priest about this. There is not a uniform approach to this question across our communion. For example, the Coptic Orthodox Church does not bless marriages performed outside of the Church, with the possible exception of marriages of Copts and Greeks in the Patriarchal territory of Alexandria proper (following an agreement with the EO in Egypt a few years ago, due to the high number of mixed Coptic/Greek couples there). As I understand it, if you are Coptic Orthodox and marry outside of the church (even to an EO, RC, or mainstream Trinitarian Protestant), you separate yourself from communion with the church (I don't know if it's permanent or what; I don't ask about other people's business, but our priest has spoken about this situation in general before, because it certainly affects our communities in places like America).

I know the Armenians and Syriacs are a lot more permissive than we are, though. Not sure about the Tewahedo.
