He's God and He owns it all. We're just entrusted with it but everything that is belongs to Him.

Nope. Various scriptures repeatedly state that Jesus will not be found by looking for him. Example below:
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

The difference being literal - the premise of this thread - and spiritually.
I agree somewhat with your sentiment though, bhsmte. My belief is that Christ is best found through one's actions.
Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

I can verify that to some degree on this experience....
So to cut the long story short, I was in Slovakia for Christmas for the first time to me my (would-be wife's) family. Things didn't go too well because I couldn't speak Slovak and they couldn't speak English. Most of the time I was shy and nervous and I hardly ate anything the mother offered. I just sat there quiet and couldn't talk to anyone. My girlfriend was on the other side of the room so I couldn't get her to translate.
So on the day before I was supposed to go back home, she saw I opened up a lot and was guilty for judging me and saying things about me. I didn't hold it against her. While upstairs packing my case I sat on the bed and took off my Olive wood Cross I got in Israel early that year and wanted to give it to her. Part of me wanted to, the other said it's yours you got that in Israel, don't give it away.
Then I felt Jesus sitting next to me in White but I didn't turn to my left to see, I just knew he was there.
He said;
"Give her that cross, you do not need it. I live in you, not on that cross"
I agreed and I gave her the cross and told her she can have it. She asked why and I said Jesus told me to give it to you. She couldn't quite understand although she was Catholic. But she was so blessed and happy and apologised for getting the wrong impression about me.
