Okay, well I hope everyone (whoever may be here lol) had a great Halloween! It seems that the rest of the group is unable to join the thread at this time, but I'd like to advance the discussion anyway.
We’ve introduced the idea of the three ambassador attributes: knowledge, wisdom and character. Our goal in this group is to improve in all of those said areas. Each discussion may focus on a particular attribute, but we can always be working on each of them in all situations (being cordial and loving with one another – character, researching/exploring a topic/idea we have questions about – knowledge, and learning the best way to engage others in any given situation – wisdom).
This discussion is mainly meant to introduce the general concept of these three areas, as they will act as the foundation for the discussions going forward. I saw several comments earlier about learning how to respond to skeptics of the Christian faith (whoever they may be). It seems to me that this could be a good place to start since effectively engaging with hostile/skeptical audience requires all of the three attributes. If any of you have any comments/questions/suggestions before we move forward, now is a great time to talk about them : )
