Shalom,

I am looking for the truth and I have decided to share a part of my faith with you guys. Perhaps with this information, you can help me find what it is that I am looking for among the different churches out there. Please, give me the truth and nothing but the truth. I have been looking for quite some time and it's very difficult to find a church that has the same faith in which I have learned. I am going to write down a small part of my faith and proof that may help to back it up. These particular parts of my faith are what is making it rather difficult to find a church. Very very difficult. I also do not know where to look..

I hope you guys can help me find what I am looking for..

Peace be with you.

Statements of what I have learned.

I have learned that I must repent.

I have learned of a baptism of water, spirit and fire.

I have learned that “belief,” is a combination of faith and works.

I have learned that I should not exalt the traditions of men above God.

I have learned that I should not draw God in any form of idolatry. Not that of animals, humans, or anything else.

According to what I have learned, God, the only immortal, is spirit, and no one can see him. However, I have also learned that God is ONE, but has many forms; forms that can be seen of the Sons of men. For in the beginning was the WORD. The Word was with God, the Word was God, the Word came into the flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus is not only the, "Son of God," but he is also the "Father," and God himself. The image of God in which the fullness of the deity dwells. Before Abraham, he was. I also suspect that he was also melchizedek, since there was no beginning or end but like unto that of a “Son of God.”

According to what I have learned, God is still seen by people today. For he is the same then, now, and forever. Perfection need not change. When they do see him, something happens when they come "face to face."

According to what I have learned, the Sabbath is the SEVENTH DAY; commanded and decreed by God Most Highhimself, who does not change like shifting shadows. It is a day of rest which is more than just “worship.” It is still to be observed by the children of God. Also, how can one who is unholy keep anything holy? Therefore the disobedient can never enter his rest. - Hebrews 4

I do not believe "Sunday," to be the Sabbath. - Hebrews 4:4, 9-11

I learned of martyrdom. For Jesus picked up his cross and died for my sins.

I have learned that we must seek first his kingdom and his righteousness as we deny our kingdom and our righteousness.

I have learned, we are saved by grace, through faith, which is dead, without works. It is not earned but given. For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Love is the fulfillment of the law. Therefore sin is transgression against that law. As a result, sin is hatred. Just because a criminal stops committing crimes, does not mean he/she does not remain guilty. Even if he/she went before the Judge and confessed their crimes, they still remain guilty. However, confession can lead to judgment. There are misdemeanors, felonies, and even some crimes inherit the death penalty. Sometimes a King can decide to give a pardon. The criminal record can undergo expungement. Just because a pardon was given doesn't mean the criminal EARNED IT. Also, What is expungement if the criminal continues to commit crimes?

I have learned that we must stop sinning. For whoever keeps the whole Law but fails in one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

I have learned that God desires perfection. Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.

I have learned that Jesus is the only way, truth, and life for he lead by example and he was perfect.

According to what I have learned, only those who DO NOT COMMIT SINS THAT LEAD TO DEATH have life. - 1 John 5:16

Very nice understanding. Especially of who our God is as Christ Jesus in all things as we are given to know Him in so many ways. It is a pleasure to see someone not following after creeds or traditions of men. There is certainly no future in that. The issue of being in His Rest is fulfilled, as I read scripture, as we find fulfillment of the 'seventh day' rest is entering into that promised land of rest when we are filled with the Holy Spirit of Christ and He Fathers us according to the fulfillment of the Abrahamic Covenant.
Neither do I know of a "church" to go to to find scripture followers. So I go to all of them and preach Christ and in that manner find one or two here and there to fellowship, who are filled with the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.
It is a very dry desert on this planet, to find folk called of God, who aren't wrapped up in some denomination or make the word of God of none effect by their traditions. But when you do find that person who is called of God who isn't part of a man made religious system, that will be a fine day indeed for you :) I recently lost my very dearest friend who's passed into Glory, so I know what you mean looking for that true worship with another together with our Lord God Jesus Christ. Blessings and best wishes to you friend :)

Ahh a desert, and the rain is beginning to fall. If what you say is true, you are quite blessed to have someone besides God to have fellowship with. Yes indeed, the majority of churches are false but I am a bit too afraid to yoke myself with them. These places are filled with curses. To be yoked with a mad cow is to get cursed with that diseased cow. God can be quite angry at times. I was commanded to "come out of her.."

My apologies but I refuse to stay with these false churches for too long. How do I know God would send someone to my Sodom and Gomorrah to get me instead of destroying the entire city with me inside it? It's best to unyoke and shun as commanded..
