Fast Food Workers To Strike

The relationship between an employer and an employee is unbalanced - the employer has all the power. That's why unions and collective bargaining exist.

Strikes are undesirable and are used as a negotiation tactic. Just deciding that nobody should show up for work doesn't accomplish anything - there has to be a demand that the employer could meet to prevent the strike for a strike to accomplish anything for the employees.

Seems like we would have a better food selection, being known for herding cattle and farmland and such, but where I live it is simply a very hot swamp

Ah, east Texas. Don't sweat it (pun intended) girl. While BBQ and chicken fried steak is ubiquitous and delicious in nearly every small town, there's always some Mexican or Tex-Mex place that serves the fare the chains cannot. I lived in Iowa Park outside Wichita Falls for years before moving to Dallas and while you could get decent food in WF, the quality and diversity of what I can get in the Metroplex means I'll never again live in a small town. Thai delivery. Expensive for my taste but still worth it all you can eat sushi and churrascarias. Ethipian, Iranian, German, Eastern European, New York style delis, etc. etc.

Dallas - come for the cowboy hats, stay for the tandoori chicken.

Having sex is not one of the basic human needs. Compared to keeping one's self fed, clothed and sheltered, it is at the bottom of the list of actions a poor person should be undertaking.

If u can only get fast-food jobs; the way our government is set up, it makes more financial sense to not work at all and draw a "my check".

30+ states welfare system is equivalent to making $15 an hour....if one does not have an issue being lazy and a burden on others...live off the governement and as long as you vote democrat you will always get paid.

I lived up in sulphur springs for a few months Sometimes Texas feels like a sunblasted crap hole :c I wanna move up to Colorado and enjoy the mountains and stuff!

It is only the single most important action to ensure there is a human race so we can have basic human needs!
