Is the Word “It” In Genesis 2: 1 Translated Correctly?Genesis 2:1 So the heavens and the earth and everything in them were finished. 2 And on the seventh day Elohim ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. 3 And blessed Elohim אֶת־ Day, the seven and sanctified (qadash, set apart, consecrated) אֹתֹו it (him), because in בֹו it (him) He rested (shabath) from all His work which created Elohim and made.
NOTE: As a side note the KJV has translated the Hebrew word “otow” as “it” but according to the Interlinear Scriptural Analyzer the proper translation should be HIM, as well as the Hebrew word “bow” where the Interlinear Scriptural Analyzer translates as IN HIM. ...we see the confirmation of what Paul was saying in Col 3:16-17 and we also see confirmation to this out of Y’shua’s mouth as well in Matt 12:8 and Luke 6:5 where Y’shua proclaims the Son of Man is Adonai of the Sabbath.
