I didn't want kids when I was 19.

And now it's different. I guess I growed up.

I hope you're positive that that's what you truly want. ...My sister's husband just got a vasectomy reversal done because 15 years later he and my sister suddenly realized that they wanted more children and that they had made a mistake in him having gotten the vasectomy in the first place.

I can understand your reasoning though, the same thing as crossed my own mind as well. My cousin actually has said that he does not want children because of the way the world is now. It's so heartbreaking actually.

It's going to get tougher to raise kids in the future. That's my assumption though.

Tuition prices, competition rising, rising violence, bullying.

Raising kids = Money

Yeah... well that's the good thing about it, is that it can be reversed if need be. But my thoughts on having kids shifted when I was around 25. I know for sure I wouldn't want any anytime soon. But of course I can't be sure how I'll feel 5-10 years from now.

I'm not bothered either way at this point. I guess it depends on who I'm with, and their desires. I don't really want to be pregnant but if my partner really doesn't want to be pregnant either, but desired children I'd consider birthing one. It just all depends on timing/relationship/stage of life/age/etc.

Yes, I want kids. I think even one child would be a massive blessing.

Yesterday I saw a cute picture of a baby and dog on pintrest. It made think of wanting a baby someday. I'd love to have a child, maybe even two.

Yes, I very much want children. Think that it might be too late for me, though.

I love children. They aren't a "maybe in the future they will be in my life" as I was a nanny for 5 years and even now I make an effort to be involved in the lives that God has placed in my sphere. I just recently got approved to be a foster parent so am waiting for the call to have my first placement.

So yes, I want kids. But I feel like I don't want them in the sense that I only want to give birth, I want kids in my life in general, whatever way God places them.

God may never have it in my future to be a mother. But that doesn't really matter to me because He gave me a love for children and has brought many wonderful ones into my life already. I've been blessed with kids and hope to continue that no matter where my life takes me.

I plan to adopt! I want as many children as I can afford (up to seven or so), and I'm not sure I want to give birth at all, but I'll adopt either way.

I voted yes and I am really feeling it because I'm 27 now and single. I was married and I've been divorced now for 3 years. I wasn't totally sure I wanted kids UNTIL I was ALONE. I sponsor a girl through Compassion and my mum said something about having a "grandchild" finally because I'm an only child...
