Death, Burial and Resurrection

DEATH FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS
Romans 5:12 12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned--
* Sin came thru Adam
Hebrews 9:22 22And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.
* Only blood can remove sin
Leviticus17:1111For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.'
* This is the way it was in Old Testament
Matthew 26:2828For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
*Therefore Death was for the remission of sin.

BURIAL IS FOR CHANGE
1 Corinthians 15:36,37,38 36Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. 37And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain--perhaps wheat or some other grain. 38But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.
* A seed planted is not the same as when it comes to life.
John 12:24 24Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.
Acts 2:4141Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
* Thru the change in burial and Christ’s resurrection his spirit was
released at Pentecost (a Sunday) and caused the bringing forth
of much fruit.
2 Corinthians 5:17 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new
* It doesn’t say that we will make ourselves new. He did the
changing to bring us His Spirit. ** We cannot be “In Christ” unless we believe there was a change. And these verses
prove that something buried does not come back the same.
2 Corinthians 3:1414But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.
*Therefore Christ’s Burial was for change thus one of the reasons I believe there was a need for a new day to worship corroborated by 2 Corinthians*** 7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,
and Galatians 3:25 25But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
*Also I see from reading my Bible that Jesus was worshiped for the first time on a Sunday Matthew 28:1717When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
Jesus had set the stage for this worship when He told His disciples to meet Him Matthew 26:32 32But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee."
He also said in John 4:23
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
*Matthew 28:17 This was worship in spirit since this was after His resurrection and this was Jesus and He says John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
*Therefore burial is for change.
John 11:25 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

RESURRECTION IS FOR LIFE

2 Corinthians 3:6 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
*This is why the change was needed because without Jesus
resurrection there was no life after death, as we see in Matthew
27:52 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the , saints which slept arose,
Psalms 31:24 24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
* The hope in the New Covenant comes from the resurrection.
There is no resurrection without letting Jesus out of the tomb so
all things can become new and we can celebrate with hope His
resurrection.

Romans 8:24 24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Romans 15:13 13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
* The Holy Spirit comes thru the resurrected Jesus and He released
that Spirit at Pentecost to everyone. Acts 2
All you have to do is accept the FREE GIFT.
1 Corinthians 15:19 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
1 Corinthians 15:22 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
*Therefore resurrection is for LIFE.

** If it were not for Christ’s burial I could not be “In Christ” and according to 2 Corinthians 3:14 I can not be “In Christ” and still be under the law. There is only one set of laws I know written and engraven on stone spoken of in 2 Corinthians 3:7. Therefore I have to conclude the ministry of death, the Old Testament and the veil are all referring to the 10 commandments, which are done away. For me that veil is taken away as declared in verse 14 “In Christ”. For if what is passing away Was glorious, what remains is much more glorious. I prefer to live in the present rather than the past. For me that present is verse 17 17Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is LIBERTY.
Liberty to do anything I want; NO, quite the contrary Liberty to live at peace with my Husband, fellow children of God, others who don’t believe the same doctrine as I, unless that doctrine denies Jesus who bought me.
We are all now “In Christ” if in fact we have accepted and surrendered to His Death, for remission of sins, His Burial for change and His Resurrection for LIFE.

He did by allowing his people to exercise their free will, which he gave thru Adam’s fall. And then thru the release of His Spirit at Pentecost, we in commune with Him decide a more perfect way.
Why would you worship someone who did the most glorious thing for us 2 Corinthians 3:11 on the day he was in the tomb?
The disciples worshipped Him that very day Matthew 28:12. Do you really think that the disciples went back the next Saturday and worshipped. Or do you think that they finally learned what Jesus was all about. And do you think that Peter now understood The Mount of Transfiguration Matthew 17 and why the cloud overshadowed them after he wanted to build a tabernacle to Moses, Elijah and Jesus. God said “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. So let’s hear what He has to say: John 11:25 25Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
The only way we know for sure that the resurrection was on the 1st day of the week is because the Old Sabbath pointed to it Matthew 28:1, just like the Old Testament points to Jesus Christ. Behold I make all things new. Revelation 21:5 I received this at 10:14 July 19, 2001. Thank you Jesus.
If there be any falsehood in these 5 pages then I pray God, that someone will come to me in the Spirit of Love and reason together with me, so that we can both find that most blessed
HOPE

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for we are ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS.

Because of the scriptural information I have presented here I have assurance of salvation.

I would like to ask anyone listening:

Do you have assurance of Salvation?

If so what do you base that assurance on?
