When the Lord gives us wisdom it is to use to His will ... to whom He gives much He expects much ... to those who ignore their gifts or use them to their own will ... there's scriptures on that, too ... wisdom is a spirit of God, Himself ... a gift of the Holy Spirit ... not to be taken lightly ...

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and understanding.

the world rejects the Lord's ways ... looking around it's hard to see much wisdom in a world gone mad ... the more we take the Lord out of schools, remove the commandments, etc ... the less wisdom we'll see ...

I heard a man give his definition of wisdom once ... I liked it ... 'the ability to take what appears difficult and make it simple' ... in man what I see is an extreme need to complicate, control, dominate and overwhelm everything ... including understandings ... jmho

I just love the picture of the bible outweighing all the philosophies, knowledge, and wisdom of this world. So true.

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
