Does God withold blessings if...

No, I think he pours out more blessings on us. Maybe we do not recognize them. Maybe one of the blessings is "conviction". Love and "blessings" are not always kissy, kissy, kissy. All blessings are to bring us to salvation.

Sometimes the blessings he gives us is a brother or sister who will bring us the truth or help us to repentence.

sometimes different translations translate "blessed" into "happy"
....what exactly is the meaning of "blessings"? Knowing that would help answer the question.

I believe where sin abounds God’s grace abounds all the more. (Romans 5.20)

Is Blessing a supernatural thing or a result from an action?
I have a hard time believing that a person who continues to abuse alcohol, for example, will live a happy life. Happy times may come through interacting with loved ones, for example, but not through binging on alcohol. So there would be blessing, but the "wrong" action would not bring any blessing.

(I don't want to debate if alcoholism is a sin or not. I'm just using it as an example to make a point.)

alcoholics are miserable. That's why they drink. Every good and perfect gift comes from God. Every breath you breathe is a blessing. It is a gift from God. So no, God doesn't withold blessings.

Ya, I think the OP needs to clarify what "blessing" means. Grace is an undeserved Gift, totally able to deal with the sin in our lives.
But, I'm thinking the questions is "Does God still bring prosperity in the areas of our lives where we choose not to walk in His ways." We're not choosing grace, we're choosing our own way.
Maybe some clarification.

well, if we are trapped in sin, then our hearts desire would be for the very thing that God has told us to stay away from. So my answer is no, I don't think he would give me my hearts desire, because it would not be a blessing (from His perceptive).
If a man is lusting after another woman that is not his wife, would God "bless" that man with another woman? Indulging in our sin can not bring blessing.
But, struggling with sin does not cause God to set His face against us in anger (rebelling might, struggling is different I think). Even when we are doing some wrong things, we are still doing some right things.
For example, the man. Maybe his marriage is not bringing blessing into his life, but perhaps his relationships with his children are.

My theory on blessings is that it's not a supernatural miraculous event. It's a result of walking in His ways.

Ya think? Thank you for telling me that. I was about ready to wander over to either Assemblies of God or up to Word of Faith. I know they understand where CCR is.
However, I think you are telling me something here. If so, please let me know.

sometimes. We saw it happen with Elijah, but we also see it rain on sinners all the time.

I have a hard time believing your claim. Perhaps you need to switch your focus. I highly doubt you are being ignored by everyone here.

Since we do not live by law but by grace through faith - no, God doesn't withhold blessings from us when we mess up, because they were never earned in the first place.
