Just before I woke up, I dreamed I was organizing euros in my wallet, and ripped them to make them fit more neatly. I realized afterward what I'd done ( tearing paper money and devaluing).

I checked the news this morning, and there's nothing more than the task force's vow to deal with this more quickly. I think the dream is about haste, and further devaluation that could occur.

Lord, give them wisdom right now as they feel under pressure, and prevent the board from making a rash decision that will impact so many countries, as well as the world of other currency users. Lead us all back to a path of restoration.

History repeats itself.

How do we know a North Korea or Russia or Iran or China isn't printing Euros and putting them into the economy like wildfire? Or hacking up companies and industries to fund their own broken economies?

Death by a Thousand Cuts. They may have some economic ties, but how can they avoid easy money when Westerners are so naive and gullible?

Look at Genocide. Western nations said "never again", and then what? Sudan and Rwanda went ignored.

NYTimes on Rwanda while tens of thousands of innocents were getting massacred with machetes: "There is no good guy in Rwanda".

Countries signed a genocide agreement and they failed to comply.

If they won't comply with that... what will they do in common sense?

They love to chase phantoms like they did pre-WWII. Because phantoms they unconsciously know are not a real threat. Hitler and Germany they must have known was a real threat and they ignored him.

History always repeats itself, until the end. Gets worse and worse Scripture says until the very end.

Hey! You're fast.

Ah, I wondered why I didn't represent the US in the dream. Maybe I did.

Amen to your prayer... on a lighter note ..

I watched a person who does finance reporting the other day on TV. He likes to make the odd comical remark, but this was the furtherest I have seen him go. He showed a graph illustrating the sovereign debt of EU countries compared with the amount of wine vs beer they consume. The wine-drinking countries were the ones in real trouble & the beer drinking countries were better off.

He said something like "Do you feel more fiscally responsible after drinking a glass of beer or a glass of wine?"

Looks like you'll have to pour some beer in your wallet - :)

Will do.

Lol.

I wonder if it is related to overconfidence. A higher percentage of upper middle class, creating imbalances in services and goods. Or just people too sleepy to work.

As an unbeliever I would be clutching my heart for the fear in the times we live in, but as a believer I'm looking up for my first glimpse of Jesus:hug::clap::D
I remember one of my relatives talking about seeing some of her family burn Confederate money that had been found in an attic. She often says she cannot believe they did not save it. I suppose what I am trying to say is how quickly we forget it is merely paper with an ink image stamped on it and is only worth whatever is accorded to it at that time in history. Just as J said it is paper that has become a god that often is the root of much heartache.

Sorry I am rambling;)

Sorry Heron. Now back to the OP:wave:

Unbelievers have no fear. The flesh is the beast. It acts without concern for things beyond passion and hunger.

Colorful story. So true, about the value changing.

Did you see where European Officials pumped $1 trillion into the EU? Just to keep it afloat? European Officials Act to Carry Out Rescue Package - NYTimes.com I've been watching the NYSE -- hard to tell, but seeing some volatile movement in the markets.
Thanks, this definitely pertains to the dream. I'm not sure why I saw the ripping come after the story.

This might be an odd statement to some but, I had no fear of God or dying before I became a Christian. I think truly lost souls are fearless. At least I was.

I became both overcome with joy and afraid after discovering God and the devil were both real. Previous to that to me, they were fairy tales.

No it isn't. I see your point.
