Yes! I love lighthouses
I have collected the entire Trixie Belden mystery series. I also started to collect way-out-of-my-price-range ornaments which was a mistake. I mean who wants to buy a $260 statue of a Austrian opera singer holding a rose, when it comes time for me to sell??? So I guess that one will stay in my crystal cabinet for the rest of my life.

I am a bit of a habitual collector, so to speak - I collect anything I can manage to get in my room. Well, preferably smaller items:
-small carved stone animal figures
-miniature guitars
-shot glasses (to a degree)
-plushies
-books
-glass bottles (a few anyway)
And I have a growing collection of guitars and guitar equipment as well. That is really my only large item.

I am Scottish so it should only be fitting that I collect money! Preferable other peoples money My wife collects comics and has a large selection dating back to the 40,s, Disney stuff and romance from the beatles era with all the origional pop star pictures. Now its agent x, modesty blaze and marvel comics. My dog collects tiks and my cat collects birds

I collect my parish newsletters too, they have their own section on my book shelf.

You do mean one for each week right?
My brother does that too. he has refered back to them in the past to see how the church does things or for insperation. Now they are made available in boxes under the pews (seats) for the members to browse during coffee

Manga is a kind of japanese artwork, it can be scanned onto a computer and eventually constructed into an actual video known as anime. There are books of manga, it's like a comic but so much more detail and passion goes into it. (n_n)
You do mean one for each week right?

Ok. We learn something new every day I am familiar with Anime although I have avoided searching for it. We tend to find unwanted material even in the safe area.s. My son was looking for ben 10 animations and found something quite different. happily I have now better parential control

I used to have an unreasonably large collection of books, but I finally pruned that down to a manageable amount. And now I have a Nook to keep books on, so it cuts down on the stacks I used to keep all over the place.
Now I collect parasols and cameo jewelry, mostly antique but some new as well...every time I visit a new place, I try to pick one up if I can! I used to collect tea cups as well, but I just don't have the space to keep them safe anymore.

I have a neat collection of china tea pots and so on. I've also got this chinese parasole but it is for decoration only, the artwork on it is fantastic. It has birds, swallows and flowers all over it.
I just realised, this makes me sound gay!

Never even thought that before you wrote it. In this country its custom for a man to give his naigbour flowers for helping him out. Even if the naighbour is another man. Thats one I could never get used to. But they don,t think its gay although a scotsman normaly would
I have a set of royal albert tea cups and tepot, suger and milk jugs from the beginning of the last century. We use them for our grandparents when they visit. When I drink from one i cannot get my finger through the handle
If you saw me you would think I ras gay. But I am not. My wife tip toes around and prays that no one breaks a cup. I want to sell them so she does not have to worry so much. But the wife says not for all the tea in china

Buying flowers for another man!? If I did that here I would get battered to death, and rightly so!
I don't blame your wife though, I also have an obsession with china tea cups, so danty and posh!

china teapots are nice I have some minatures
lol I have this one that is about the same size as the cup it came with, seriously tiny. I usually have my green tea in it, loose leaf of course.

I once collected a load of shells at Exmore, it took me several days before I realised that there were living animals inside them! The smell was horrendous!

I like to collect action figures, mainly Star Trek and Transformers. Especially the Star Trek TNG figures and Transformers from the classics lines or that resemble them in some way (I love the G1 Transformer look).
