Bickering married couples

Anyone know the couples (especially the old ones) who bicker constantly, annoy the crap out of each other, and at the same time love each other very much and have been married for a long, long time with no end to their marriage in sight? (kind of like Ray Romano's parents in Everybody Loves Raymond)?

My dad and his wife are like that, except it's less fighting and more them constantly picking on each other, making fun of each other and annoying each other for their own entertainment. And it works perfectly for them cuz that's who they both are, major wiseacres. My mom was way too serious of a person for my dad, but my stepmom is perfect for him, and it's always a VERY entertaining affair when I go up north to visit them.

I've known couples like this -- some are, as you said, entertaining to watch and be around, and even inspiring at times. Others are incredibly annoying, partly because it seems like they are putting on a show for whoever is around at the moment, and partly because there's too much bickering and not enough making up.

Actually, Ray Romano's parents get on my nerves. I can't deal with a lot of screaming, screeching bickering like they do. The more friendly bantering is more my speed. :p

My in-laws constantly bicker...but it's anything but entertaining! There's no humor or silliness in it at all. They're just flat-out mean and rude to each other and they don't care who else is listening. It makes me so uncomfortable! But about twice a year, I'll see them do something so loving and kind for each other and it shocks the snot out of me every time. They've been married for about 35 years.

My husband and I are like that. We like to tease and pick at each other, but we do it in a fun way and if one of us goes to far the other says "hey! too much!" and the other is quick to stop and give a kiss. My friends tell me that we are fun to watch and that we make them laugh. My husband is very high strung so it's almost impossible to be serious even 10% of the time. We are also very lovey to each other; it's like pickpickpickkisskisskiss, all in good fun. We're best friends.

My dad and his girlfriend bicker a lot. I think most of it is in good fun but sometimes I wonder. But they seem to be very happy together and are a good fit. Sometimes it's a little bit annoying but I do think they love each other.

I hate those couples that bicker and you can tell that they want you to think it's harmless but what they really want is to get their real feelings out there. It's so hard to watch sometimes.

Remi and I love to bug eachother, but it's more poking fun or me covering his eyes while he's playing his xbox. :p (that drives him crazy. I alternate covering one eye at a time and see how long he can try to 'ignore' it before he gives up and starts to tickle me)

However I have a good friend in a fairly serious relationship, she and her boyfriend are moving in together in May. And they can be /horrible/ to eachother! It's not just poking fun, it's mean, embaressing teasing when there are others around.
She can be overly harsh and he can be as un-helpful as possible.
I actually had to inturrupt one of their arguments (over a breakfast the three of us were having) saying: "How important is ______ really? Lets drop it and eat!" I tried to be light and laughing, but /man/ it was annoying as heck!
But! *shrug* if thats what their relatrionship is, thats what it is!
