I jumped to the quick reply space ready to type away. As I sit here this morning I really can't think of anything. Everything that comes to mind has to do with how she reacts to things I do for her. I'm probably feeling this way because I'm not really feeling like she loves me and that my recent insecurity is a nuisance to her.

My husband genuinely, with all his heart, wants me to be happy. He really is the best, most decent man I've ever known. I am humbled by what a good husband he is.

I strive to be worthy of the kind and degree of love he gives me. I'm not sure I am, always, but I will never stop trying.

I have a friend whose wife is pretty cold to him, told him once that he needed to love her as Christ loved the church. It's about God's purpose for her in your life. Over the next few months, she has begun to warm some. The husbands job in a marriage relationship is a very hard one because his standard is so high, it is Christ's love. That's huge...

Well I didn't mean for this to sound like advice, sorry, more a prayer, for all the husbands out there striving to love their wives and all the women who are striving to submit to that love.

what makes my husband special, so many things. He's amazing, I've never met anyone like him. He's confident, smart, thoughtful, hardworking, honest. 8 years together and he still surprises me! He loves me and encourages me, he raises the bar for who I can be and what we can be together. We laugh together. He's very stable, genuine, and firm in Christ. He loves his family so much... I could go on and on, I love him.

He remembered to take my cough drops out of the car this morning before he left fo school. (Been sick the last few days and had them in the car because we are always on the go. But today I plan on staying in bed.)

And he calls just to say Hi, or I Love You, or to see how I'm doing. :)

This is bad but one of the main reasons I appreciate him so much right now is because no matter how dirty the house has gotten lately, he hasn't said a word. We are doing some work to the house plus I'm a first time homeschooler trying to get all that figured out and in the midst of it all the house is just in all kinds of disarray and he hasn't said anything. He has absolutly no idea how much I appreciate him keeping quiet about it either.

I LOVE how my husband loves to check in on me throughout the day. He is 25 and refused to ever get a cell phone until this week. Now he's all excited because he gets to call me using his cell phone. It used to be emails a lot.

He also LOVES to walk to and from work with me. We take the long way so we have extra time to walk and talk together.

I also LOVE when he offers to pick me up from work when he only has a half day and gets home early. He gets all excited seeing me wait for him on the curb outside. hehe

All those little things mean SO much to me. :) I am so happy that he enjoys it.

When I felt it was time for me to settle down I paryed that God would send the right person to share my life. I asked for someone to be pretty, intelligent, someone to look after me and I in return look after her, someone loving and caring but also sensible enough to not let me have my own way all the time. I know this sounds like a request list and not a prayer but it was all asked in prayer and more. That was nearly 24 years ago and I am still with the answer to my prayers - Amen!

The fact that I'm alone in a new place with no family, my Husband has come through BIG time with supporting me and holding me when I'm sad or depressed.
He helped me through the transition of moving and leaving my family, and is VERY aware that I gave up alot to be with him out here in Alberta. :D He's also the bestest friend in the world. ;)
