As I have stated before I witness while I play, so for me, inviting Jesus to sit down with me while I play isn't an option, it's an imperitive.1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character."
In other words, subjecting yourself to anything contrary to God's word can hurt you spiritually.Bad company can be a person,an activity,a place, music,a movie,a TV show, and yes, it can also be a video game. Here's one for you-the next time you're going to play a game, invite Jesus along.Pretty tall order, huh? If this is a problem area in your life, pray about it.Talk with a fellow brother-in-Christ or your pastor.I'm not suggesting that we all go cold turkey and never use a controller/keypad again.it's simple, just be selective about what you call entertainment.
If this game takes time away from God and promotes ungodly values then do not play it.If this game seeks to make a profit off your destruction do not play it.If this game is something that you would not want Jesus to see you playing do not play it.God Bless
Warcraft makes the news:
"Although best-selling online role-playing game World of Warcraft boasts over ten million subscribers, it's also leaving in its wake an increasing list of casualties.
Even though she's never played the game, 28 year-old Jocelyn is one of the fallen. A well-spoken California resident, she divorced her husband of six years after he developed a crippling addiction to the smash online RPG."
