I have been thinking of some people who really are outstanding examples of Christians today. One of them is a young man in our ministry that began to work full time right out of high school. He was there long enough to prove himself as far as showing up on time and so forth, and then he let it be known that he wanted to be a camera man. The Reverand said, he is young, but give him a chance at it and lets see how he does. At first it was difficult, he is tall, but needed more strength. So we prayed and he began to fill in and bulk up.  I do all I can to help him, so I know he works hard, and has come along real good.

Today I was reading in the Bible about how we live in a time when Micheal is going to lead the Heavenly Army. Since we work with Micheal I decided to look into just what that means for our young camera man. What I saw was that being in the lords army is very much like being in a regular military army. You have things that are assigned to you, and you have to be packed up and ready to go at any time. There is no room for anything extra, that is not required. Our young friend is ready to go anywhere in the world, on a moments notice, where God is moving and performing miracles and capture them on video tape, for you or anyone else to see. Now actually, these missionary trips are planed out well in advance and there is a lot of preperation that goes into them. Still, those who serve God are always ready to go. They are packed up and have been purged of any extra baggage or junk that would slow them down. That would get in their way of serving God and doing the will of God, whenever they are called upon. To be sure, the work is not hard, but you can not do it in your own strength or ability. We must trust in the strength and the ability that God supplys us.

We read in Daniel: Daniel 12:4 "many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." I was looking at the "to and fro" and noticed a passage in Zech. 4:10 "they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth."  Then I checked out the word "eyes" and found this verse: Zech. 2:8 " he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of His eye."

I thought WOW!!! We are the "apple of His eye". Not only that, we are the eyes of the Lord. We need to be ready at a moments notice to go anywhere in the world, to see what God is doing, so we can share with others, what God is doing in the world today.

Satan has people who serve him, to do the same thing. You can see their film on the 6 o'clock news. I sure would not want their job. But if you want to see what God is doing, tune into the Ernest Angley hour, if he is on the TV in your area. Then you can see the video, and you can see the miracles, the healing and the salvations. You can see the work God is doing. Or check out the web site. http://www.ernestangley.org/  Thanks, JohnR7

Great application of these awesome scriptures John.

Interesting how you made this post, because I have been thinking, of late, along similar lines. How that so many Christians seem unaware that we have a job assigned to us to do, right NOW and right HERE on this earth and in this life.

Some seem unaware that we have been saved to bear fruit and that we are commanded by Jesus to do just that.

It is as though we have been saved and now we no longer have to worry about eternity so we just sit back and wait for Heaven. Well to me that is another salvation check. Because if we have the Love of Jesus in our hearts that love will constrain us to share the Gospel.

Oh yeah, that was what John the Baptist was preaching. To bear fruit worthy of repentance. As a people the Hebrews that did not bear fruit were cut off and the gentiles grafted in. That is why Paul said to be sure to bear fruit, or we could be cut off, just as they were. Of course as a nation, God would preserve the roots, and they would be productive again.

Matthew 3:8-10
Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, [9] and do not think to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. [10] And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Daniel 4:26 And inasmuch as they gave the command to leave the stump and roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be assured to you, after you come to know that Heaven rules.

Nebuchadnezzar is a type of Isreal that will be restored when the fullness of the gentiles have come into the Kingdom.

Although the idea that God is going to restore Isreal is so very controversial even among christians.

In another thread, someone was speaking of people arguing over the meaning of Scripture. This is a very sad thing. To think Christians are so unlearned in the Scriptures that this can even be considered "controversial".

Again, we Christians today need to learn the difference between reading and studying.
