WHO WHAT HOW
How can the voice of God be heard
How can we see God’s face
Who can believe such things absurd
Escaping death’s embrace
Who can reserve tomorrows dawn
Who can remove life’s stain
What can we do to be reborn
And live no day in vain
What can achieve eternal peace
Who can the grave survive
Who from hell’s fire can bring release
To ever stay alive
How is a man His flesh to kill
How can salvation be
How can a man be living still
That died upon a tree
Man’s full of doubts through Satan’s lies
Though wisdom’s close at hand
The Truth that’s brought to foolish eyes
Most fail to understand
For this we need The Ghost of Christ
The Gift God gives us free
We need The Lamb God sacrificed
Salvations Word to see
We need God’s Fire to burn inside
We need our hearts to change
We need God’s Spirit as our guide
Our lives to rearrange
Love’s Light will enter through our doors
Our eyes will truly see
We’ll cease to be the devil’s harlots
When Truth has set us free

YET EVEN NOW
What is this life without Your love
Without my God on high
If when my eyes can’t search above
I feel as though I’ll die
What is this life when void of peace
When hope has ceased to be
What’s left to do when tears increase
And eyes no joy can see
When trust has ventured out the door
When daily prayers decline
When worship’s left Salvation’s shore
And faith’s no longer mine
What is this life when God I fail
When day and night seem one
When pessimism drops its veil
Replacing hope long gone
What’s left to do but sit and weep
Wandering to and fro
Recalling nights of blissful sleep
Within Salvation’s flow
When still this child was in Your hand
When victory songs I’d sing
When Jesus' Ghost was in command
And Christ still Lord and King
I’ve shed in life so many tears
I’ve faced the great unknown
Though Heaven's love throughout the years
Had changed my heart of stone
I still believe You're always near
And grace You long to give
That even now! You’ll take my fear
And give me hope to live

A NEEDLE’S EYE
You’re lost within the devil’s hand
Your list of shame is long
Yet think the truth to understand
And wisdom is your song
You think no God can reign on high
You think my Word untrue
You’d ere believe a pig could fly
Before I’d save as you
But hear the facts I now reveal
Regard The Truth I give
My boundless love for you is real
Pay heed dear child and live
A needle’s eye is more than wide
My eyes have all in view
Not just camels could walk inside
But herds of elephants too
I am The Lord The King of kings
Creation’s in my hand
The devil lives dances and sings
Alone at my command
The book I wrote for man to read
The Truth I would impart
Reveals the facts of Christ my Seed
To those with open heart
Are you prepared The Light to see
Receive Salvation’s wine
Will you accept my Spirit free
And be a child of mine
Before your body turns to dust
Let life my child be won
Have faith in God give me your trust
Believe my Lamb and Son…

TREASURES TO BUY
Salvation’s wine will quench and fill
Will cleanse and make us new
But Satan comes to rob and kill
And cheat the chosen few
Deceit’s not worn upon his sleeve
The devil hides his lies
Through stealth and cunning lambs believe
The wolf in sheep’s disguise
Such putrid fruit the Father hates
Trickery in the bride
No lie can enter Heaven’s gates
Nor liar reign inside
Receive the truth from God on High
Through Christ true wealth is bought
Salvation’s fortune we can buy
And yet it costs us nought
Purest silver, the finest gold
Rare jewels God’s choicest fare
Wisdom knowledge treasures untold
Gratis to those who dare
Who dare to walk Salvation’s path
Who dare through faith to stand
Who through belief, escape God’s wrath
Within their Saviour’s hand
Yet poverty, persists abroad
The world can’t get her fill
Like misers Satan’s wares we hoard
And scrutinize at will
We need to buy Salvation’s wealth
Put self unto the sword
Receive new life eternal health
Whilst serving Christ The Lord.

I’D SEARCHED THE WORLD
I’d searched the world along life’s road
I’d laboured day and night
But when to Christ I gave my load
I saw His way is right
The bible tells what Jesus said
I’ve seen His words are real
His blood can truly raise the dead
Who humbly come to kneel
Through deep dark valleys, troubled sea
In vain I sought for peace
Yet only when I bent my knee
I found in Christ release
My heart was true I needed love
I needed help to fight
God met each need through Christ above
Who gave me robes of Light
I never knew such love before
Nor knew such tender care
Till when God’s Lamb came through my door
In answer to my prayer
I thank The Lord who made me see
Who led to understand
Who’s precious blood has set me free
To walk The Promised Land
I’ve in my heart a song to sing
I’ve hope to see no end
Richer by far than any king
Through Christ my Lord and friend
Through faith in Him who chose to die
Who came my cup to fill
I’ve treasure now that none can buy
And joy to do God’s will…
