I found this cool site. You post 9 books and you get 3 credits to swap books. With every book you mail, you get a credit to swap books.

PBS rules! For the past 7-8 months I've gotten most of my paperbacks from there; I can't recommend it more highly...

If you are looking for a place to send unwanted books where they will do the most good, there is an organization that supplies books to people on Indian reservations out west. In some of the communities they work with, there isn't a single book in the entire town. Not one. Not even a dictionary.
The people are too poor to buy books and too far from a bookstore, so they just don't get any books at all.
But this organization, bread for the brain, takes donations of books and either distributes them on the rez or sells them to buy books they can use.
I don't have contact info for the organization, but you might look them up through google or something.
