Sure if you want to put it that way you can. We couldn't fully understand it anyways, otherwise we'd be God, right?

Yes He does. He wants both. By creating children you are doing the same thing God does (to an extent.) You have no idea if heaven or hell truly exist, but you know that both pain and pleasure exist, yet you choose both sides of the argument for the sake of life because it is good. Don't you see?

God may know whats going to happen and thats what being omniscient is, but you on the other hand have no idea where your children go (heaven or hell) and still choose to create pain and pleasure for them anyways.

The children had no choice did they? You made them because you wanted to love them knowing they would experience pain so in essence you want the pain too. (There is an easy to fix to "avoiding pain". It's called "No children".) You will still love them regardless of what paths they chose.

"We must question the story of logic of having an all-knowing all-powerful God, who creates faulty Humans, then blames them for his own mistakes."
--Gene Roddenberry

The only problem ole' Gene has with his statement is that Adam and Eve were perfect in every respect-physically&spiritually until they chose to be disobedient to God.

What was Eve's downfall? Pride, same as with Lucifer(Satan) the fallen angel.

What was Adam's downfall? Not assuming spiritual headship(disobedience).

Let there be no mistake until they sinned willfully they were indeed, perfect.

You choose to go to Hell because you choose not to love God. God is not an evil tyrant, but a loving father.

I know you will repeat yourself and have heard all of this before, but just pointing that out to you for your own sake.

Your reasoning is not bibical in any form! :) You have NO TRUTH to back up your remarks. And Christians believe that NO one is doing their [own thing!] (because the Truth tells us so-Eph. 6:12)

And the separation of church is bibical, not 's'atanic or
un/christian.

Emotions are good if true love motivates, are the true governing force. And perverted emotions are highly esteemed above principle! But that is not Gods problem.

PS: i see no purpose here on this thread  of death.
So i will go the way of Titus 3:9-11 as Truth!

If they were perfect, then shouldn't they have not sinned in the first place? The fact that they were capable of sin is certainly a flaw.

Adam and Eve had a choice to eat or not to eat the fruit in the garden. They were capable of sinning as shown in Gen. 3.

I suggest a converted person [only] is perfect in God's sight! Rom. 8:1 And even then, only because of Christ's rightousness! Still they can choose to follow another if they so [freely choose]. Gen. 4:6-7.

Why does God permit this? And is it perfection before sin? Adam & Eve were 'tested' while in PERFECTION! they were to [develope character].
This, God could not give them, or create them with. This they would do themselves. As [FREE] moral agents. Na. 1:9. SAFE for saving, a PROVEN creation, yet free! (you know? Lord 'we' love you?)

And us? Perfect in Christ ALSO! "IF" and "ALSO" [CONDITIONAL].
We to will develope character by daily testing! Once converted, we have [access to all the provisions of Phil.4:13 & 2 Cor. 12:9]
and in a Spiritual sense we are born again equal to Adam & Eves unfallen state! (if converted)

NOTICE: The beloved John was 'inspired' to pen: ".. sin a sin which is [not unto death], ... There [is a sin unto death:] ...[All unrightousness is sin]: and there is [a sin not unto death.] 1 Jn. 5:16-17 in part.

One last comment. If one can handel this? We want to know what & how the 'blasphemy against the Holy Ghost' starts. Read Davids [two] thought Truth in Psalms 19:7-13. 'Keep back thy servant [also from]..' is covering both the start to the ending of
a serious judgement of ones free choice. From verse 7 we see what sin is, and in verse 13 we see that it become presumptious
when [done & known]. This is what quench & grieve does in the end, & the [end] result is DEATH. (hate fed, leads to murder & lust fed, or nurtured, leads to adultary)

Pastor N.B.

Christ covers this in Matt. 12:31-32.

The righteousness of Christ is imputed to the believer by the work of Jesus Christ upon the cross at Calvary.

Being born again of God's Spirit that which is imperishable, unlike the flesh which is perishing everyday.

The flesh is corrupt and is not saved, Adam and Eve once they had sinned by disobeying God their flesh became corrupt after being in a state of perfection. So it is with us as believers. Our spirit has been redeemed through the spiritual transaction of God's Spirit replacing/redeeming are old sinful nature. The flesh doesn't change after salvation. Being filled with the Holy Spirit is the power God gives us so as to turn away from the desires of our corrupt sinful/flesh nature.

Neo: You can complain about what you see as wrong with God until the end of your days and it will change nothing!

Read the NT. Keep in your mind that Jesus is not only the Son of God, but also the word of God. Who better to explain to you the Father than the Son?

If you still have questions I will be happy to pray, and hopefully... give you an answer from the Spirit.

I pray now... that your goal is to understand our Faith in God ... rather than a feeble attempt to destroy. For only if you desire God will that desire be fulfilled. No one on this forum or anywhere can give you Faith.

Sounds ok to me :)
Here we are perfect in Christ, and with a messed up body! Right?
And we are equal to Adam & Eve in 'spiritual mind power only' huh?

So here we go! Which controls what, does the converted mind control the carnal bodies urge, or does the 'sick' body control the 'Born Again Converted' mind?

This is where the Born again Christian enter: The born again mind LOVES the Master for the [FIRST TIME]. (otherwise Christ is not needed)
Now, [we] are the ones accountable! "To him that [knoweth] to do good and doeth it [not] to [him it is sin]". You know, the mind says do it, and the body says naw, it will get me killed! (like the cleaning up of the dirty filth as seen in [our] denominations and
EVEN WITH KNOWN FALSE DOCTRINES!) Or do we think that God had not know in His forknowledge of our responsible decisions or LACK of??

Next: It is once again us'ins ( South Carolina talk) that ARE the responsible professors as seen in Christ's Words: "And that servant, [which knew his Lord's will and prepared not himself], [neither did according to His will], shall be beaten with many stripes. (And the un/converted??)

But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. [For unto whomsoever much IS GIVEN, OF HIM SHALL BE MUCH REQUIRED:] and to whom MEN have committed much, of him they will ask the more." Luke 12:47-48

So, it is not hard to see who it is that the Master will finally tell, "Well done my faithful servant" is it??

On the question does God know the [end] of everyone's Character development? Surely! but, we have not [that] ASSURENCE as of yet, of what 'His forknowledge' sees! For it is still 'UP TO US' and our converted mind, as we are still alive making character developing decisions one way or the other. Phil. 4:13 & 2 Cor. 12:9 or Gen. 4:6-7.

 Read 2 Peter 2:20-22 for [todays] setting! Yet, this is Everlasting Gospel fact!

And God cannot lie! "Have I [any pleasure] at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not [that he should return from his ways and live? (whose choice is it!)

But [when the righteous] turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? [All his rightousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned]: in his trepass that he hath trepassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, [in them shall he die]." Eze. 18:23-24's fact!

Now for the closing question?? Think MATURITY!

Can a converted, born again MATURE Christian be [FAITHFUL] while sinning the sin of [OMISSION] by calling the "THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATION OF THE EARTH" of Rev. 17:17, Christian denominations?

(notice: the question is NOT asking whither there are Christians in them. Of course there are!! Rev. 18:4)

And this is all the while because of our cowardly [body] telling our converted mind, you are going to get us killed!

I suggest that this is where we Christians are at, at the present time, that of Matt. 10:5 on. Pause, at verse 23!

Your true friend in the Master's quickly finished work, (1 Peter 4:17) Pastor N.B.

This thread is extremely foolish. How can you argue with the all-knowingness of God? Okay if you don't believe that God knows all.....explain this (and yes I have read this but no one has answered the questions)

1. How do you explain the prophets?
2. How do you explain Pastor N.B.'s last question?
3. How do you explain Peter's denials?
4. How could the angels know about Jesus before He was born and what He would do?
5. How did Jesus know of His betrayal before the arrangements were made?

And those are just a few. But one of the main things about this thread is the illogical manner of the arguments! In here people have basically said the following....

Know=Cause
Allow=Force (as in force to happen instead of allow to happen)
Love cannot involve punishment
We were created with a free will, but God was stupid to do so if we would choose wrong. However you have forgotten that not having the ability to choose wrong makes it not free will anymore!
That because we had the option to choose wrong made us imperfect. Remember that Jesus had the option to choose to do wrong as well, but He is perfect.

OF COURSE God knows everything! You are foolish to think otherwise and Satan has decieved you well to think that you can explain it away. Pray for the wisdom to understand this truth! God knows everything.

Plus on a side note.....God created time and is not bound by it.....just a thought! Peace be with you all
