• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread. 1 Corinthians 10:17

:prayer: Give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11

He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. Luke 9:23

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ. Acts 5:42

These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. Acts 17:11

I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. 1 Corinthians 15:31

besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches. 2 Corinthians 11:28

but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Hebrews 3:13

 hello! blessings! :groupray:

“In any museum we will find quite ordinary things - clothes, a walking stick, a pen, pieces of furniture - which are only of value because they were possessed and used by some great person. It is the ownership which gives them worth. It is so with the Christian. The Christian may be a very ordinary person, but he acquires a new value and dignity and greatness because he belongs to God. The greatness of the Christian lies in the fact that he is God's.”

I'd love a Capuccino!

Dee, thank you for posting those Scriptures.

It's a wonderful reminder from God we need to live in the present always. We can't rest on past laurels; we must renew our relationship and walk with the Lord DAILY and feed on His Word DAILY and come to Him DAILY.

Oh I needed to be reminded of this. We are so feeble that the present day today is all we can handle anyway. We miss out on today when we look at yesterday or tomorrow too much.

i could use a warm cup of coffee and a few hugs. i think my moods are all over the place lately and life seems to be a lot more confusiing at times with loved ones as these things are changing but i often do not get an answer clearly why the changes are happening so i could use a hug and a cup of patience with life also....God bless you
