Most of the friends I've made on campus I've met at some type of Christian organization. I've met a few people in classes, and in those cases, they've been the ones to talk to me first. I'm kind of shy though, so that's probably why. If you're wanting to do something with someone outside of class you could start out by simply asking what his/her plans are for the weekend and go from there. :)

usually we meet at the registration (3-4 hours of sitting in front an office without anything to do makes you talk:) )...and then we start going for coffee/tea between courses or after to talk....

For me it's very easy to make friends...but hard to make good friends...I know most people in my Semester but there are just a few I know better...

let's see most of the people I am starting to get to know I found on facebook first, the ones that I started talking to just from going to class, is the people from my theatre classes. I guess because it's more of a together class, whereas the other classes you sit there listening to the teacher then when class is over, everyone races out, either to get to the food or their next class.
I think for the most part the other people are the ones that start talking to me then I join in.

Do you make friends easily on campus? Who usually starts the talking-you or the other person? What do you talk about? How do you take the friendship "outside the classroom" and start doing other activities with them?
I've made a few friends on campus. They are all people who either lived in the same dorm as me or took a lot of the same classes as me and ended up being assigned to be lab partners with me or something like that. Off campus activities started with dorm or college social activities. After a while, I started going to birthday parties and sporting events as well. Topics of discussion started with the typical small talk - where our hometowns were, what major we were in, etc. and later progressed to more meaty topics like politics (you have to be careful with that one), current events, and quantum mechanics :)

I don't have any close friends at school... It's just kinda hard for me to make close friends offline. I don't know why... I just don't talk to other people often, and when I do, it's always just about school and nothing deeper...Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
