How is Love Produced?
"If you love me, you will obey what I command." (John 14:15)
What are His commandments?
Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." (Matthew 22:37-40)
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:2)
But Lord, how can I have love?
I am Love says the Lord and I live inside you. Spend time with Me praying for those who persecute you, come down on you, or seek to do you in. Pray and you'll find your heart changing.
You'll find your day will be a whole lot smoother than if your justifying your position. Right now the Lord wants to bless us richly if you'll just do what Paul did, what Moses did, what Jesus asks of you.
As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right. (1 Samuel 12:23)
Pray. Pray for people continually. Pray for your sake, and for the One Who continually prays for you. Prayers go up...Blessings come down
