Ezekiel 18:20-22
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

Also, let us remember, and lovingly point out the Apostle Paul's comment in his letter to the Romans, as well as the clear statement in the Book of Revelation.

Romans 2:5-6
... the righteous judgment of God Who will render to every man according to his deeds

Rev. 20:13
... and they were judged every man according to their works.

but i suppose the question is at what point in ones mortal life shall the sin count?

is it after he is baptised or is it after he comes out of the womb?

If it is after baptism then under which religion? Lutheran? Christian? Cathlec (sp?)

If it is after birth then should we all not be punished for our sins as to be man is to sin for it was passed down to man from Adam, but Jesus died to correct what Adam had done wrong thus correcting everyone from him on.

Please not to argue i am a God fearing man that was called to Christ and the Father comming from a life of many great sins; i know now tho that it is no longer my life/soul/heart but the Lords. But i tell you this if not everyday i am sure i do something to displease the Lord and Father, am I do suffer eternaly for these sins? or am i to be forgiven? If i live my life by the book (as the book speaks the truth) then i should surly suffer eternaly for my sins and i should be thankful for that little of a punishment from the Lord. Even tho i ask for forgiveness and pray every night that the Lord and my fellow man can forgive me for the sins i have done, i only hope that when i am to be judged that he can see the good that is in my heart.

My point was if my father commited a Sin, I as his son am not guilty of his Sin , I must answer for my own self, Not that of my Fathers nor for-fathers, Even though, through the sin of Adam did sin enter the World of Man, His fall from grace caused all mankind to be born in a sinful world. Even after the baptism of the literal and the Spiritual, the Sin remains in the World of Man..

The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son:

i guess if your just looking from the point of if sin can be passed down thru the family tree....

what about in Matthew 27:25
They are voteing to free either Jesus or Barabbas infront of Pilate

"All the people answered, "Let his blood be on us and on our children!""

Is it for each man to bear his own sin? is man not 1. and in Christ we are 1? I wouldn't say we are responsiable for our own sins buy also the sins of others. We are all mankind in the eyes of the Father. Should we not help our brothers and sisters and ask for there forgiveness also? To be worthy of the gift to live in Gods grace and splender should we not be a slave to faith? (maby slave is the wrong word here to use)

(side note: you bring up some niCe topics)

If I show you the good news of the Gospel, And you still have chosen a sinful way of life, My goal as one born of the Spirit would be to continue to try to save you, But the sins you continue to preform would be yours, Not mine, On the other hand, If i warned you not then My sin would be clearly SEEN, And yes I agree with your statment that...{ Should we not help our brothers and sisters and ask for there forgiveness also? To be worthy of the gift to live in Gods grace and splender should we not be a slave to faith? }

Yes, this is only one goal of many, to those Born of the Spirit, Nice having fellowship.

I do recall a passage where John the Baptist says... If he warned not of the sins, That God would Judge Him!

here is one for ya. kinda moveing the topics along BUT....

"My goal as one born of the Spirit would be to continue to try to save you,...."

Did not Paul say (Ephesians 5:6-12) (6)"Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. (7)Therefore do not be partners with them. (8)For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord, Live as children of light (9)(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) (10) and find out what pleases the Lord. (11) Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. (12) For it is shameful even to mention what they disobedient do in secret.

I guess to put it into perspectivness i have this friend such an unbeliver in anything. yet he knows there is a devil. He mocks me cuz i goto church but he knows that if he needed me i would be there for him. iv known him in person for 2years? maby 1.5 but i have talked with him for many more years online. He mocks the Lord and God, i asked last night in prayer i was soo fustrated i had to leave his house cuz i didnt think that someone could just completely disrespect your views with no remorse. but i asked the Lord last night what i should do. do i stay there to be a symbol of the greatness of the Lord, and Father? or do i abandon him? as Paul says? I know it says Love thy neighbor like thyself. is there a line? i mean it can really pull on both of your arms ya know....

Oddly enough, and as much as I hate to admit it, Magi 78 is right this time.

OptimusP> There is indeed a line - but that line is not for the Chrisitan to draw.

If this person vexes you, you are free to not continue to seek association with him. If he seeks you, you are expected (so as not to word it too strongly) to acceed to his wishes - however, if he seeks you only to make sport of you, you are free to withdraw from association - on that occasion - if an hour later, he seeks your company again, you are to give him the opportunity to show that he will not offend again. If he does, you may again withdraw, subject to those same conditions. And so the cycle continues.

In time, he will tire of the sport and either not seek you out any more (in which case he is the one who has drawn the line) - or he will behave in a civil manner in his dealings toward you (in which case he is the one who has drawn the line).

In this matter, from what you have said, you seem to be the ploughman - do not expect that you will sow anything of value, nor that you will be the one to reap (bring him to Christ). You merely (?) break up the hard trodden ground so that the seed of the gospel, when it is sown, will be able to take root and grow properly to yield a crop for the harvester.
