"Pray for peace at home, and war abroad!"....:p jk

It is my life goal to fight for the LORD and to destory His foes. I pray for peace, but ask to be better at war. Battle and War are very sad things; yet some must fight lest we should be all slaves. I await my military career and my days in battle.

Warmonger! ...

I can't wait till I am in the midist of battle!

Aw, the enthusiasm of youth.

I am glad not to have seen combat. Although I have been close, and seen
the effects on people I knew.

while it is part of the job, I pray that you never see your dreams forfilled.
No one ever returns the same.

BUt if you do go,I pray for you and your comrades to serve bravely and all return.

After you return"IT'S ALL GRAVY, Forest"
Nothing will show you how good we have it here then to see what others live with.
Carried a m-16 daily, used once, never fired a round other then qualifying.

6 years USAF Security Police, Desert storm happened 2 years after I got out and was married, couldn't go back in. But still hear the drums of war calling to me.

I served over a year in a combat zone. Have seen and done things I never thought I would. Am forever changed as a result, just now beginning to manage my PTSD symptoms successfully. Have alienated most of my friends and family in the process. Was it worth it? Only God knows, in the end.

In His grip,

~~Cheryl

I hope with Gods help you can work through this and get the true friends and family back.
As I said, I am glad that I only came close to being sent to combat.
Thanks for serving:thumbsup: .

I was in the Army during Desert Storm but never actually deployed to the Middle East. I spent alot of my younger days in the military wishing I could have been in combat, but now that I am a little older and wiser and not so easily influenced by John Wayne movies, I am extremely thankful I never did.
