  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Wahabis - A brief history

Deobandis are not Salafis but they are Sufis. Salaf are the first three generations and the Salafiyyah are those who follow the way of the salaf because they are the rightly guided generations. This is a distorted version of the true history. The whole story is totally wrong.

Jizya - The Righteous Tax for Non-Muslims

Please do not compare governments and regimes with Islam. Governments have their own traditions. I went to Indonesia and what I saw was that Churches and Mosques were there side by side. The reason that in Indonesia the religions are more together is the they all had to fight against first the...

    Does Qur'an Teach Violence?

I often hear from "non-messianic" Jews that they do not believe in the messiahship of Jesus, aleihi salam, because they misunderstand the Virgin Birth. They do not believe that it is possible that a woman can give birth to a child without any father/husband involved. Therefore, for them the only...

    Does Qur'an Teach Violence?

    1. Muhammad was not a terrorist. He fought against persecution done by the people of Makkah. He did not conquer anything. All he did was fleeing from Makkah to Madinah to live there peacefully. He could have fought the Makkans but he did not but they just did not leave the Muslims alone. Why can...

Islamic Teachings I: Sins and Deeds

Here is the way to gain the Mercy of the God of Abraham: 1. You believe that there is not god but Allah (Elaoh, Elohim, YHWH, Jehovah). You must believe in the Singularity of God and you must not ask any creature, stone, nor a human body, nor an angel to pray for you or to intercede for you...

    What/where is purgatory?

Muslims believe in the agony of death: This is the time when the soul leaves the body. This process is not easy, it may be difficult and even painful. Agony of death purifies from evil deeds if you did not repent in this world. Muslims believe that after death there is hugging and squeezing...
