  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    15 and not baptised

My thoughts exactly lambslove. You pretty much summed up what I've been trying to say. Do not delay, get baptized today. (I'm a poet and didn't know it)

    15 and not baptised

If you wait until you are "good enough" to get baptized, you will never be good enough. I feel that it is God's will that you get baptized. Its not oly his will, its His command. Matt. 28:19

    15 and not baptised

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal saviour you are ready to be baptized. Yes you'll still got to heaven if you choose not to but, I recommend you do. IMO the sooner you are baptized after salvation, the closer you'll be in your walk with Christ. Trust me, I know from...

    No profession of faith?

As mentioned in another thread, I went to a baptismal service Saturday at a non-denominational church (not mine, I'm Baptist). All though it was exciting to see 90 people follow our Lord's command, I left distrubed. There were no professions of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The service...

One thing I've always wanted to do

I never intended tis thread to be a debate on the validity on such a baptism. I was just stating my desire to baptize somebody. In the book of Matthew it says that we are to go into the world and preach the Gospel and BAPTIZE them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Truly we should...

One thing I've always wanted to do

I have always wanted to baptize somebody. I think it would be an honor and priveledge to do this. To help in the persons obedience to our Lord's command and see there death to self and ressurection to new life in Christ. Being buried with him in death and raised with him in resurrection. What...

    Baptism, what to wear???

When I was baptized i just wore my tighty-whities under my white robe. The ladies wore their bras and panties. Though the robes were white, they were not see-thru. You might want to check with your pastor because I have been to baptisms where the were clear as glass when wet. Your robe might...
