Sin is sin. The wages of sin is death. I don't dispute that at all. I'm just wondering why some sins are considered deadly and especially bad. Thanks for the answer bliz. It's good that you understand the OCD (scrupulosity) behind this guilt you feel. Have you tried seeing a psychologist for dealing with this?

Just a few ideas: repent and cast all your cares on Jesus; go to church regularly; regular prayer and bible reading; read about the lives of exemplary Christians you are interested in (biographies, autobiographies); pray for people; enjoy your faith!
