  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    When Did God Create Water???

Shall we remember that, we have long since moved from the begining (as we know it). We that stand now, must diligently look back to find the answers hidden to us by days gone by. All biblas are translations, originating from the compulation of oral traditions and symbolic writings to a system of...

    Simple Question, or maybe not

The word ordained is key to the question. It seems that when God made us he ordained in us life, by day, week, month and year. whether we belieive in Him or not. Martin Luther was a pro-test-tant, John Westley was a pro-test-tant. The protestant movement was to seperate itself for the Catholic church. This seperation was prompted by the decree, that preists were not to marry. It is evident in scripture that there are those who choose to align themsleves...

    The whole sabbath issue

The Sabbath is the last day of the week, saturday. God imputes the holiness of this day in the Ten. Slavish work is just one of the do nots for this day. In placing this as one of the Ten, God shows us the good path. In Him there is rest, Those that do not obey find no rest. Jesus in the NT...

Are we still obligated to keep the law?

If it were not for the 10 commandments I would not know I was a sinner. These ten were given to us, to show the depth of seperation from God. Yes, the law is unkeepable, because of the fallen state of man. This is the reason for Christ that we would have a chance to be brought back to God...

1 Corinthians and women silent in the church

In reply to your question, I have read many answers given on this forum. I find it intersting that those that answer, answer with words of men. The church is not allowed to change the word of God (all men are liars, there are none that seek after God). Ones opinion must be weighed by scripture...
