Finally got to see it, and I'm now totally a Tom Hardy fan! Every time I saw him, I had an overwhelming sense of dread. There were only 6 people in the theater, including yours truly, and no one talked at all during the movie. Everyone in TDKR should be highly praised for their work. Fun...

I've been feeling really low for a while, and haven't felt like being on the forum for a while. Then I went to see a movie, and got back into the whole "interacting with people" thing, and revved me back up!

Well, I have bad news. The little boy I spoke about died at midnight last night. :'( He was surrounded by his family, and free of pain. He has joined the Church Triumphant, but I'm asking for prayers for his parents and grandparents, who are starting their journey of grief and mourning.

A little boy at my church has neuroblastoma and bone cancer. He has 4 more spots of the neuroblastoma, and the leg previously unaffected by bone cancer is causing him so much agony that he was hospitalized. He's 4 years old, and I'm afraid that this is starting to spell the end. :S

I'm really ambivalent about it. If we did it with mutual washing of feet, I would be fine with it. As it is, the pastor and ushers wash everyone's feet, which seems to put them in the role of Christ, which is not the way that I'd want to go about it.

Praying for a mate is a good and godly thing to ask for. Demanding God give you a girlfriend because you want one is another thing entirely (not saying your friend is doing that).
