• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    The consequences of creationism.

*Points out that "Intelligent Design" (Creationism) is inherently more unrepeatable than macroevolution, seeing as no one has god powers. Also, would you eliminate astrophysicists, archaeologists, and geologists from the "scientists" category for having unrepeatable analysis?

Would you say creationism was easy or hard to believe?

Actually, I'd say it's pretty darn easy to believe, far "easier" than all that random SCIENCE that everyone else talks about. xD After all, the "believability" of Creationism is what makes it attractive to those who don't really care, neh?

    I love being a Creationist!

Well hey, looks like I misunderstood the question you posed, neh? Let's see, you said: Now...how exactly does that relate to bacteria growing out of a swamp? Please be more clear in your directives. ^^

    I love being a Creationist!

As per expectations, he skips over my message. We have learned an important thing today! It is important NOT to keep your expectations too high! That way, if they are exceeded, you feel happy about it! xD

Dawkins no longer believes in darwin!

    *Summons Pacman!

    I love being a Creationist!

For the sake of my sanity, I'll copy paste what other people have already said in the last few pages: Loudmouth says: Aron-Ra says: Lemmings says: Let's see if guzman/supersport conveniently ignores this post of mine along with every other post I've made challenging him.

    I love being a Creationist!

Uhhh.....what? You seriously believe that in the few milliseconds you have to get off that hot plate, your skin receptors can send a signal to your brain, which then sends out neurotransmitters to stimulate production of adrenaline and epinephrine, which then has to diffuse through...

    I love being a Creationist!

Adrenaline rush? You mean reflex, no? xD But seriously guzman, did you just completely ignore Aron-ra's post about beneficial mutations? It's post number 58, for helpful reference. Also, you never answered my question either: You keep pulling things out of thin air and then forgetting...

    Evidence vs Viewpoint

Actually, you've got a small point here. Scientists (at the start anyway) are indeed spoon-fed scientific information. The different is, our spoonfeeding comes with the option to look through a large large tome of reproducible evidence if we don't want to accept the spoonfeeding on blind...

    I love being a Creationist!

Wait wait wait wait wait. Who's claiming this? Where does it even say that the chemicals itself keep the organism in the egg?

    I love being a Creationist!

Oh, it does! Provided you provide the correct nutrient solution, the heart will continue beating automatically! We've kept a chicken heart alive in a dish for 24 YEARS. EDIT: Whoops, actually 27 YEARS.

    I love being a Creationist!

Say, you tell me: why does your heart keep beating even if you try to tell it to stop? Why do you jerk your hand away from a hot plate before you have a chance to think about it? Why does your liver (in most cases) regulate your blood sugar so precisely without you having to consider how much...

    Shakugan no Shana!

I've seen it. It's quite a good series, but I'm afraid I don't know how many novels it covers. I do know, however, that there is a second season planned, 3 chibi episodes have been released, an onsen episode has been released, and the movie has been released already, but not yet been subbed in...

Christians and Athiests are both "unfit?"

I just had the most random thought: if Christians advocate abstinance and Athiests (most of them, I think) advocate birth control, wouldn't that mean that evolution now favors non-Christians who don't use birth control? We ALL lose. ><

Should evolution as natural history be taught in Biology class?

I'm sorry, I'm really going to have to disagree with you here. I don't see the ToE as the central foundation of biology, partly because Biology is such a huge encompassing topic as it is. Certainly, many things can be explained through evolution, but you're not going to be able to explain...
