  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Is masturbadtion a sin?

True, true. Moderation, as always, has to be applied. But sexual desires are a part of human anatomy, it's manifested in hormones, pheromones and all that good stuff. Of course you have to have your sexuality under control, if you act upon it indiscriminately that'll get you into a lot of...

    Is masturbadtion a sin?

I've actually heard a fairly interesting speech on this topic by some sort of youth pastor or whatnot... He finds that masturbation as a release valve of libido is OK, as long as it does not include lustful thinking of a man or a woman. Now I think that's complete hogwash, lustful thinking and...

    Bachmann a dual-citizen

Oh the utter shame. And by the way, Switzerland isn't the same as Sweden. Swedish isn't the same as Swiss. The correct demonyms are: Switzerland => Swiss Sweden => Swedish.

Well, here is one way to get ol' Romney out of the race.

Absolutely no reason actually. This is just typical sensationalizing and fear mongering. Israel isn't that dangerous. Hell, Romney could probably visit Iran without being killed. You can be assassinated or killed by a terrorist attack just about anywhere in the world, even in places where no...

What Has Barrack Obama Done Well ?

To be fair, Obama didn't start wars in Libya or Syria. Those wars were going on as a consequence of the Arab Spring, and the US intervened.

Obama's war on marriage, family and society.

I'll give you that. The war on drugs has devolved in an actual war. But not against drugs, against cartels. You can't actually wage war against "drugs".

Obama's war on marriage, family and society.

I think everything that needed to be said has already been pointed out by various people. But there is one thing I would like to address which deeply offends me. Please refrain from calling anything a "war" to sensationalize a banal and uninteresting topic. It's not a war unless people die...

What Has Barrack Obama Done Well ?

OK, what has Obama done well? Personally I think it's a very simplified view of politics to just accredit every political action to one man, but that's how American politics work. Everything needs to be sensationalized. Anyway, here are some things that may be considered "having done well": -...

What makes the USA a Christian nation?

That court ruling is commonly misinterpreted. What the justice meant to say was that the demographics of the USA are predominately Christians. There is no argument about that. Here is what justice Brewer said 13 years after the court ruling in his book:

Obama: Same-sex couples should have right to marry

See I've always wondered about this... To someone who interprets the bible literally, does this mean that while homosexuality between two men is abominable, lesbians are perfectly fine?

What makes the USA a Christian nation?

If the founding fathers really wanted to establish a Christian nation I'm sure they would have been more clear about it. Right now the situation seems ambiguous and somewhat contradictory, and I think you are reading too much in the treaty of Paris. At the time every legal document was...

Prayer Back in US Public Schools

Oh man. Why is this so hard? Prayer, creationism, 2000 year old morals, bronze-age myths, misogyny, homophobia, racism, arbitrary rules and so on may be taught/practiced in a church/temple/mosque/whatever. But school is a place of science, not faith.

    What Will Happen?

Oh, how dramatically ironic! God curses this poor girl with a severe genetic defect, thus rendering her incapable of understanding his vitally important teachings, which dooms her to spend eternity in hellish agony! Unable to understand the significance of her punishment as she drifts in an...

    how is masturbation a sin

How cruel is your God for making something he forbids feel so incredibly good; and to add insult to injury, he even makes it one of the brains most primal urges and instincts. You're all basically hardwired to want sex all day every day, yet your God explicitly prohibits it except under some...

    Gun Ownership

It's easy. Cars exist to travel, not to kill. Accidents with cars are a tolerated side-effect, because they are so essential to the US lifestyle. Guns however only serve to kill people or for entertainment purposes. Still, I don't think guns should be illegal on the condition of passing an...
