CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I grew up in Rochester Hills, Michigan and moved out to California in the summer of 2003. That was a very exciting time of my life until I realized that our greedy nation had cut down all but 2% have been cut to the ground.
I decided that I wanted to do something about it, So I became a tree-sitter and lived 200 feet up in an ancient Redwood, named "Libertall" for two years. A years worth of that time was spent in complete solitude. I spent my days hearing the birds sing their beautiful songs to Yahweh, I played with Squirrels and I talked with God and read his word often. It was through that long period of isolated connection to God that I realized what I wanted to do with my life. I want to travel the world and help people in the poorest places on earth.
So now, I am in nursing school pursing a degree for a registered nurse!!! I look forward to living all of my dreams in the near future!
