Sola Scriptura: the Thessalonians and the Bereans give us a demonstration.

What did the Thessalonians do before they rejected the Gospel? Did they stand there with a blank look on their face for three sabbaths listening to Paul citing the Scriptures? And then finally on the fourth sabbath they snapped out of their trance and decided to reject the gospel?

Sola Scriptura: Are the Scriptures Sufficient as a Rule of Faith?

    You remind of James White.

Sola Scriptura: Are the Scriptures Sufficient as a Rule of Faith?

No you didn't, you just pretend you did.

It is the argument of Sola Scriptura.

Sola Scriptura: the Thessalonians and the Bereans give us a demonstration.

Acts 17:2 — "And for three sabbath days he reasoned with them out of the scriptures" Please explain how one can "reason out of the Scriptures" without "searching the Scriptures"? By the way, a more charitable way would have been to say that I "misunderstand" my own question, rather than...

The Bible is the Word of God. Ok, but how do you know that?

This is going in the right direction, but skipping one important step. What was the first thing history proved? What were the first eyewitnesses of history proving? Think back middle of the first century AD. Did the Apostles prove the Bible was accurate? No, the Bible hadn't been written yet...

Sola Scriptura: Are the Scriptures Sufficient as a Rule of Faith?

I never saw you offer a definition. I must have missed it. Please state it here once and for all. Failing that, I thought I go to the most "learned" and famous of all current day Protestant apologists and use his definition. If that definition is wrong, and if we need to have a long debate...

Sola Scriptura: Are the Scriptures Sufficient as a Rule of Faith?

Jesus did not deny the authority of the Scribes and Pharizees. He condemned their actions. I think you're onto a dead end road here.

Sola Scriptura: Are the Scriptures Sufficient as a Rule of Faith?

Thank you. If the fist century Christians were fully equipped, where does the Bible teach us that part of their equipment would be made obsolete and replaced some 350+ years later by something else? This is your THEORY, great, beautiful, but theories are not evidence. Unless you can prove this...

Remember Sola Scriptura? Show me where the Bible says that Oral Tradition came to an end?

The Bible is the Word of God. Ok, but how do you know that?

All Christians believe that the book they hold in their hands and that has the word 'Bible' printed on it is the Word of God, inspired and infallibly true. But not all Christians believe this for the same reason. Furthermore, not all Christians have the same Bible. Some have more books than...

Predestination? Thanks for your opinion, but no thanks.

Sola Scriptura: the Thessalonians and the Bereans give us a demonstration.

You're dodging the question. Are you saying that those who rejected the Gospel did so because they were not called by God?
