  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Tyrant Surveillance

That didn't make much sense. Can yo explain? When I said "I assume" about Denmark and Sweden, then it is not totally without reason. I read Swedish news regularly. I do not follow Danish news on a daily basis, but I know the country well. So, I have a fairly good understanding of how those...

    Tyrant Surveillance

The reason why Norway has ended Covid restrictions is because almost every adult has been vaccinated and lots of teenagers as well. There is hardly any resistance to vaccines in Norway. Probably because Norway has a highly educated population. I assume the same reasons apply for Sweden and Denmark

Dormition of the Theotokos (Aug 15)

This is not correct. The Church's own website even says: Even during the Norway's political union with Sweden, the Church of Norway was not much influenced by the Churhc of Sweden ("i løpet av de neste hundre år med svensk-norsk union ble ikke Den norske kirke i særlig grad ble påvirket av Den...

Please help to ignite the Great Re-Awakening in Europe

This option is still available. It is only the UK that is no longer part of it. But if you get a residence permit in one EU country, then you can still move freely to any EU/EEA country. It is just that the UK has disconnected themselves from this set-up. Most other countries in Europe still...

There is no state church in Norway anymore. It used to be - but no longer. The former state chuch is now in transition. There are plenty of free churches in Norway - every town has a fair selection of them. Main denominations of the free churches are Pentecostal, Lutheran and Congregational...

    Imperial Measurements in the U.K.

They switched from left to right. I guess they just wanted to get things right :) On a more serious note: All countries around Sweden were driving on the right side of the road. There is a lot of traffic crossing the border from Norway, Finland and Denmark, and I guess it would just be easier...

Please help to ignite the Great Re-Awakening in Europe

The rules for getting a citizenship varies from one country to the next. So, you need to check the rules specific to whichever country you think you can get a citizenship in. Be aware that in some countries - like Germany - you will have to renounce your US citizenship in order to become a...

    Imperial Measurements in the U.K.

It was Sweden who did it. But yes, they did it over-night. It is one of my early child-hood memories: Crossing the border from Norway into Sweden and my dad had to take the car to the other side of the road. The roads were like an X at the border
