CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sanctification happens and everybody is correct about how and when. The Holy Ghost meets us where we are and when we are subjected to the LORD.

Denominations: Sanctification produces fruit. All who produce fruit will love one another. All who do not produce fruit will love their religion or denomination.
Communion: The Eucharist, baptism, prayer, worship, praise, testifying, and service to the LORD are all means of communion with the LORD, but communing with the LORD requires the believer to come prepared to enter His Presence. Otherwise, it is just remembrances, ritual, and habit.
Bible: The Bible is the divinely inspired record revealing the historical implementation of the LORD's plan of redemption.
Anthropology: Divine redemption is not primarily about saving sinful man. Saving sinful man is about revealing the nature of the LORD. The sole purpose of divine redemption is to demonstrate the glory that is the LORD's. Each man has been, is, or will be expendable in that the divine plan of redemption is not dependent upon any particular man. It is not man who is important in this divine action, but it is the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost. You and I are not determinant to the victory of the Kingdom of our LORD.
Opinion: Politics are irrelevant. Only making disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ will change this world or ones country. Defeats at the voting poles, in the legislation, and in court decisions reflect the degree of the absence of Christ in the population.
Opinion: John Wesley may have been directly responsible for more people hearing the gospel than any person in history. I would trade crowns with him or the crown of many, many others.
