CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am a Christian mother of seven and a survivor of domestic violence. My husband has addictions and has commited adultery on numerous occasions. If it wasn't for my children and the Lord I would be still in the relationship now with nothing changed.
I am now figuring who I am as a person and where God wants me to be.There is a long road ahead for me in unchartered territory as I move forward into being single again but with the Lord at my side guiding me I know I will survive.
Update - I have taken the next step in the new chapter of my life. I will be beginning studying in July 2016 at bible college to obtain the skills to help in womens ministry. My husband has continued his sinful lifestyle and is intending on divorcing me in the near future.
2020 UPDATE: I have taken the step to initiate divorce proceedings and after my head injury 3 years ago have gone back
studying to become a naturopath. During this time of uncertainty I keep my eyes firmly focussed on the Lord and providing protection and comfort for my children.
2021 : Divorced and have eyes on the Lord...
