  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Fainting

It happened to me during my last pregnancy. I also asked the docs about it, and they said maybe I needed to eat more protein or ?...they didn't know and didn't seem bothered to find out. I did try different things to make it better. No matter what I ate and how much, it would happen several...

How do you train a breastfed baby to a bottle?

I'm glad its worked out! It can be frustrating when you want them to take a bottle and they won't. I think I could probably participate in a thread about kiddo's that don't quit talking. :P

How do you train a breastfed baby to a bottle?

My oldest and my youngest son would not take a bottle, no matter what bottle I tried or who gave it to them. I tried for about 2 months or so with both of them, when I was trying to introduce the bottle with breastmilk. It just wasn't happening. Also, at two months...more then likely she is...

When did you son/daughter discover 'themselves'?

My youngest son just turned 2 and really likes his penis. At this point...he's two...it's just another body part that he's learning about. When we are at home, and he's in the bath or getting dressed, if he feels the need to explore I have no problem with that. When or if it gets to the point...

How much do you control your child(ren)'s playtime?

I don't believe I direct the kids playtime. Though like others, when the boys start to get a little bit rowdy, I'll ask them to tone it down some. If I wanted the "control" the boys playtime, then I would have to suggest to them the opposite of what I actually wanted them to do, and usually I...

    Friends?

I also home school. I feel my kids having friends is important and I encourage them to make friends. For me, it has more to do with relationship building and learning how to have and be a friend to others. My kids right now are 9, 6 and 2 in August. It's not too important at this point...

    CF children

I can't remember if it's the shift key or the control key...I think it's the shift key, lol. At the same time, hold down the shift key and drag the doll with your mouse to the size you want. You may have to play around for a bit before you get it the way you want. Also do that for the clothes...

Children should not speak unless spoken to

I agree that teaching our children how to hold their tongues is a good thing...teaching them to wait their turns to speak or allow adults to talk during appointments and such is definitely a time where I would teach my children they need to be respectful & patient and wait for the other adult...
