I'm glad its worked out! :thumbsup: It can be frustrating when you want them to take a bottle and they won't. I think I could probably participate in a thread about kiddo's that don't quit talking. :P

My oldest and my youngest son would not take a bottle, no matter what bottle I tried or who gave it to them. I tried for about 2 months or so with both of them, when I was trying to introduce the bottle with breastmilk. It just wasn't happening. Also, at two months...more then likely she is...

Congratulations on your decision to home-school! :clap: We're on our second year, I have a 4th & 2nd grader also. We're using Sonlight this year and Math-U-See. We're also part of a co-op and through that the boys will be getting science, music, American History for the first half of the year...

yep...my kids play with toy guns, water guns, swords, etc...

I also home school. I feel my kids having friends is important and I encourage them to make friends. For me, it has more to do with relationship building and learning how to have and be a friend to others. My kids right now are 9, 6 and 2 in August. It's not too important at this point...

agree, I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to be at home with my children....most of the time. :D a/d? kids pick up on more then we give them credit for.

I agree that teaching our children how to hold their tongues is a good thing...teaching them to wait their turns to speak or allow adults to talk during appointments and such is definitely a time where I would teach my children they need to be respectful & patient and wait for the other adult...
