  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Sabbath Keeping and The Gospel

Thanks for the posting tips, I'll surely keep them in mind But the Stranger volunteered to adopt the Commandment, in belief of the God of Abraham, no different than the Jewish slaves and servants coming out of Egypt, Yes? God didn't "force" any of these people to join Him. It was a voluntary...

    Sabbath Keeping and The Gospel

But wasn't it a Law of God that if a Gentile chose to sojourn with them, Israel wasn't suppose to vex them? Lev. 19: 33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. 34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love...

Comment by 'Studyman' in 'Walking in Obedience'

What a wonderful post. I have a friend who got into drugs pretty bad. He didn't really care about "Yielding Himself" a servant to obey God, and found a religion who didn't promote obedience to God or the whole "put on the new man which after God is created in righteousness and true Holiness" and...

    Sabbath Keeping and The Gospel

I don't think the Scriptures support that philosophy. And here is why. Heb. 4: 7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. I believe this is speaking about when a man hears God's...

Two requests for the Sabbaterians at CF

I believe God gave Moses His Laws, and His Commandments and His Statutes, at least this is what the Bible teaches. I'll ask again, please show me where Abraham defines God's commandments, God's statutes, and God's laws, or as God called it, "The Way of the Lord" that he obeyed and directed his...

Two requests for the Sabbaterians at CF

My argument is not from silence. God choose Moses to reveal to me His "commandments, His statutes, and His laws". He didn't choose Abraham or Noah for this purpose. He told me these Faithful men obeyed His commandments, Statutes and Laws, but HE didn't choose them to teach me what God's Laws...

Two requests for the Sabbaterians at CF

Religious men, "who profess to know God" have been despising and polluting God's Sabbaths for a very long time. I think we have all been placed by God in a world in which these philosophies exist. Jesus sure was, and Ezekiel too. And look around today. Truly there is no new thing under the sun.

Two requests for the Sabbaterians at CF

Why? Why must God follow your directive as to when HE chooses to have His Commandments, ?Judgments and Statutes written down? Can you post evidence that anyone kept God's Commandment "Thou shall not steal". Will you then say that the Commandment didn't exist because God didn't have it written...

Two requests for the Sabbaterians at CF

Hi Hark! Hope you have been well. Somehow there are those who believe God showed His Sabbath Creation to the entire world, placed it in Holy Scriptures for thousands and thousands of years so that EVERYONE who has ever read a Bible, knows about God's Sabbath and it's institution at creation...

Two requests for the Sabbaterians at CF

I know what you mean. You started posting about Israel and how God placed on the necks of those men who followed Him out of Egypt, Laws that were not possible for them to obey. And of course this is foolishness, so I'm compelled to call this erroneous philosophy out, and before you know it, we...

Two requests for the Sabbaterians at CF

Yes, this is true. But you are not addressing my post at all. And many, who profess to know God, do not understand that if God removes a persons sins, they are removed from as far and the east is from the west. They refuse to accept that there are faithful men whose old sinful self was...

Two requests for the Sabbaterians at CF

I have heard the promoters of this world's religions preach the heresy that God created commandments impossible for men to obey, then lied to them and told they could obey Him, then slaughtered them by the thousands when they didn't. Wasn't the entire purpose of the Exodus to bring Abraham's...

    Sabbath Keeping and The Gospel

"The “voice” in the garden loves it when folks try to follow the law."? What an interesting statement. But what "LAW" are you talking about here? There were two Laws being represented in the garden, it's right there in your own Bible. Here, let me help you with this. There was God's Law; "But...

    Sabbath Keeping and The Gospel

You are parroting a philosophy that was shown to you by a voice who used the same tactic as the voice in the garden, that is, taking one paragraph out of the Bible, separating it from the rest of the Bible, then creating doctrine based on an ignorant understanding of the chapter. I could choose...

    Sabbath Keeping and The Gospel

The point is, there is no Salvation without Faith, and there is no Faith without "works". So the whole religious philosophy "Salvation by Faith apart from works" is not a teaching of God, or His Son, or the Prophets and Apostles. It's a doctrine of man. It seems prudent to identify this truth...
