  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Suspicion

Striving to cause immense harmony or trying to get to know God will bring the exact same results. Perhaps spend time in both arenas. But take very close care to want for only the real truth concerning it all at any cost, nothing else.

    Suspicion

I would suggest that you find the REAL reason that he cannot abide religion. Then find out how to correct that problem. Make no assumptions as to who is more righteous. If you cannot do that, then you cannot win anyway. So what is the point in doing anything else?

    Suspicion

It is also a bad habit to accept that just because someone thinks that he is your enemy, that he really is or that you must be his. Do you choose your path, or do you allow others to choose it for you? Harmony is your goal, not victory over self appointed enemies.

    Death

You have only one prime purpose in living. Harmonize what is within you and surrounding you. Learn how to do it properly and there will be no death. But remember that harmony means motion, not merely peace. But no, no rituals per se in mine, only regret in not acting soon enough to prevent it.

No Place For Feminism In Islam

Evolution, like all else that man gets his hands on, is no longer "natural" (selection or anything else). ..and I am certain that you underestimate the power that has been found by man. :)

    Suspicion

Its a really bad habit to suspect that the person you are talking to is an enemy. ;)

I said "the superstitious", not the "theist". And I was referring to what purpose serving that incarnate of Jesus serves.

No Place For Feminism In Islam

It is a false assumption that women are the way they are merely because of the way they have been treated. The female, without which humanity could never have survived, is genetically designed, not merely to bear and care for children, but to have other characteristics which give rise to why...

The Failings of the Religions of Israel

I did not say that the God of Israel failed. I said that the God of Abraham (the presumed God) has been lost to be the servant of another. The God of Israel (not merely the nation) is another matter.

    Suspicion

For those very few who might be interested in a bit of reality; The "staff of Moses" turned into a serpent. That "serpent" was actually no more than "hidden suspicion". A suspicion, when kept in the darkness of secrecy, urges toward its version of reality while hidden from the "light of day"...

    Suspicion

Does rampant suspicion reveal truth or merely distortions that tempt judgment and fear? Imagine living in a world where you must be able, at all times, to prove beyond any doubt that you are innocent of any accusation that might be aimed at you. Then look around you. Suspicion is a...

The Failings of the Religions of Israel

You argue over the cause of blindness saying that if a man cannot see for one reason he is blind, but he cannot see for another reason, he isn't. Regardless of WHY a man doesn't see, the effect is the same. the blindness is still blindness. Some causes can be remedied. Blindness can be fixed...

You shall not eat the limb torn from a live animal.

Consider that from the perspective of some with far greater influence, intelligence, and power than you, that you are merely that animal. Such sayings were written for the highest of governors to obey. Such people know common people as no more than wheat or animals to be farmed. (Adam, Cain and...

The Failings of the Religions of Israel

I can see you lusting for conclusions when your mind reads what is written. You clearly appear to not think deeply about what has been said. This indicates that you are "lusting" to make response most probably from a habit of defending yourself in contest. I suggested merely that you not rush...

The Failings of the Religions of Israel

Until a person does what is required to see (as pointed out earlier), all is blank or clouded. How do you show a blind man that he is blind?
