  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Concerning Hell

It is unfortunate, then, that believing in an invisible being that can not be comprehended by His own greatness, that created everything and is the supreme infallible Architect, is far from being a "small" leap of faith. Then again, the one who spoke that particular instruction was Jesus, who...

Does one's Christian beliefs "hold them back"?

As a Christian, you are perhaps being refined and perfected more than you are being restrained. As a general person, however, you are missing out on many things that can make life enjoyable. If sainthood, as it is called, is your destiny then you shall indeed reach a potential that many never...

    Concerning Hell

That is an excellent question. Therein, you may stop posting now. Given that the forum is apparently for Christian interaction with non-Christians, you seem to have walked into the wrong room anyways. If you can not do what the forum requires, then leave the forum. If you can not do what...

    Concerning Hell

Incorrect. A man who has never known of God, such as the people whom I spoke of earlier, never had that choice. Shall they burn for it all the same? Grateful Heart, in perhaps a Christian sense, I do indeed care for the other people. I was apparently under the false impression that...

    Free Will

Free will is a pleasant idea to entertain, but ultimately the creation of man's fear of random probability. On the other side of the spectrum, "fate" is simply a submissive belief used as an excuse for a given feeling of helplessness. As a general rule, you have far less free will then most...

    Brothers and Sisters

If you follow the Christian philosophy, then you shall see that we all have a common origin. Creatures with a common origin are interrelated, and so having a common Father we may rightly call ourselves brothers and sisters. Likewise we may call The Son, Jesus Christ, brother as well. Your...

    Concerning Hell

Another uselss assertion. Insight? No. Care? Yes. There is a nagging in the back of my mind that makes me wonder about the billions of lives that have passed in places where Christianity never touched, and care about their life in eternity. I apologize if this offends you, and further that...

    Concerning Hell

Then you really shouldn't have bothered with the response. None the less, it is only a hypothetical situation in so far as I am asking you to put YOURSELF in such shoes. Factually the "hypothetical situation" was real for millions upon millions of people for over one thousand years after the...

    Concerning Hell

I am glad to see that the argument has become aptly heated; discussion is an good thing, and debating is better. Now, for a hypothetical situation: The time is 800 A.D., before the incredibly large spread of Christianity. You are a villager on a small specific island, which of itself has been...

    Concerning Hell

I have spoken to many people of many faiths, and there seems to be one arising concern amongst non-christians in relation to Christianity. This concern, it seems, is rooted in the Christian proclamation of an all-loving God who casts His creations into Hell for an eternity of torture, though He...
