  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Nuclear weapons in the Bible?

Zechariah 5: 6-10 Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll. And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof [is] twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. Then said he unto me, This [is] the curse that...

    The Leviathan

The Leviathan Strong's says the leviathan is, figuratively, the constellation of the dragon; also as a symbol of Babylon: leviathan, mourning. What does this creature represent in the end-times? I suppose at one time it could have been a literal or even mythical creature, but this creature...

    Frenchman here

I hardly speak it anymore. Years ago in my hometown of 'Suncook, NH' French was mostly spoken. In Catholic school, I had as many classes in French as English. I remember as a kid where my aunts would speak in English and others would respond in French - or the other way around.

My granddaughter worked as a nanny in France. NH is a very nice place to retire. It is a bit expensive.

Is Hell Annihilationism or Eternal Torment

Hell is the pit, the grave. It's not a fiery place of torment.

LGBT Church… anyone ever been to one?

I understand. My point is sin is anything that separates us from God. Look at David, Moses, both Murderers. God still had a plan for them. The best place for any sinner to be is in Church. I'm a Catholic at heart. I bet many here have issues with that.

LGBT Church… anyone ever been to one?

Why go to the typical low blow "Have you read your bible?" I bet I've read over more than you have. For one you know nothing about me. We are all heretics. Nobody has everything right.

LGBT Church… anyone ever been to one?

Never heard a one say anything about stealing. The Baptist seem to be best at that. Never heard one say fornication is ok. That's another predominately holy mackerel Protestant thing. So, you are saying that I, as a unitarian, who doesn't discriminate against anybody - is a heretic and the enemy...

    Post-tribulation Rapture Believers Safe House

Jesus said the gathering occurs AFTER the Tribulation. Revelation 3:10 - Maybe you should do a word study on the text and maybe look at the TR.

LGBT Church… anyone ever been to one?

I agree. I've been to a few and most folks there were retired and in their 70's and 80's. Open and Affirming is a good thing. What better place for anybody to be than in Church? The bible was opens, scriptures were read, and messages preached. What do you call them?
