  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Trickle down theory, did it work?

but, i saw an article a couple months ago in kiplinger's that said it's 100% legal for your minor children to collect social security as well while you're still alive and working if you reach age of retirement before they turn 18. quite a nice loophole if you fall into that category. also why...

Trickle down theory, did it work?

what? trickle down economics doesn't work? we have wonderful proof that it does. when aig took some of their bailout money, did they waste it righting their balance sheets? did they squander it paying dividends? no, they went right out and put it right back into the economy! what better way to...

    Vote for President

yeah, except that then subjects us to yet ANOTHER round of attack and differentiation ads. but other than that, it does make a good idea. but depends on how long after the election that you planned the run-off for.

    Which course(s) is/are the hardest?

anything without objective answers. chem, physics, calculus, etc. are all relatively easy because there's a definite right and wrong answer. but a paper where two people can get wide ranges of grades on papers that say the same things don't have objective answers = not as easy. only reason the...

    Getting ahead without college...

plenty of the big names didn't graduate college. college isn't as widespread as people would like it to be believed. last i heard, only about 20% of adults are graduates with a college degree. so what about the other 80%? they have some classes, but not necessarily a bachelor's degree. see if...
