  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I appreciate your reply. Everything you have said makes a lot of since. The rules by which the KJV was translated for the most part are very detailed and good. Early Christian Quotes

This thread has peaked some of my interest. I do have 1 question though. Everything here is questioning the early church. Where in the mix of things do the Jewish Christians from the Church of Jeruselum fit into all of this. Were not they the first church that James and Peter headed? They...

if the passion story is totaly true, then how did the sanhedrin have a capital trial to convict jesus at night, which is highly illegal in itself. According to Mishnah Sanhedrin 4.1 all capital trials are to be held during the daytime, and if the verdict is guilty it cannot be announced till...

    Damascus

If Paul studied under Gamaliel, and was a Pharasee through and through as is claimed in Acts, then why was he a "henchman" for the High Priest, a Sadducee, who were at odds with the Pharasees. The Saducee's were the appointees of the Romans so they could help keep the Jewish population under...

What was the Church of the early Christians?
