CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hiya! Barret's the name. I'm just your average christian guy who loves God and enjoys all the things in life. I'm currently majoring in Business Administration, and hope to get into the financial world someday. What God has in store for me is unknown, but I know this is what He wants me to do. I have a wide range of interests, ranging from video games and computers to reading, anime and helping others. I'm a bundle of fun, and I try to joke around and lift up others who need lifting up! I'm shy at first, but once I get to know someone I open up and come out of my shell

I might be moving to Maine next summer if that's where God leads me and my family, but really I just want to get out of New Jersey. I attend Dordt College in Iowa, and it's an amazing place to make friends and get a top education.
