    Christianity Morality and OT laws

This has nothing to do with the discussion at hand. That person, put away or not, still considers their actions to be morally justifiable. If morality were universal, that would not be the case. I think you're confusing "morality is relative" with "I think these actions are not wrong".

    Christianity Morality and OT laws

We're discussing it from every perspective - if you stick to one perspective then you're not really discussing morality, just a single person's opinion. Why? If someone likes a different colour to you, are you not allowed to have an opinion on colour any more? Counterargument: Monty Python...

    Christianity Morality and OT laws

Say the person doing it lacks the ability to comprehend that they are causing suffering, and from their point of view are playing with the puppies. From their perspective, the action is justifiable. From our perspective, the action may be wrong, but we cannot necessarily judge it as morally...

    Christianity Morality and OT laws

My post wasn't sophistry, but this one was. Point is, morality is always relative. There is nothing which can never be justified or condemned, because it's all a matter of context. That doesn't make it useless or irrelevant, but it's important to remember.

    Christianity Morality and OT laws

What if someone is pointing a gun at your mother's head and telling you that you must make that statement or she will die? Is it still wrong to do?

Or that some people follow God's law perfectly, and therefore do not sin - Jesus being a likely candidate.

    The Five Second Rule

I use the five second rule as a completely invalid excuse to be a mess with food. It does depend on the food and floor in question though.

If there's an issue with any ad showing on this site, best course of action is to report it. There are plenty of other ads to click.

Sin doesn't exist. You may not like it, but there is nothing you can do about it. :) Funny how that phrase doesn't actually prove anything other than the attitude of the person who uses it. Also, while I've got your attention, you never said what the question actually was in the OP.

    Any answers?

What exactly is the question? Why they exist, what do about them or something else?

"How Target Figured Out A Teen Girl Was Pregnant Before Her Father Did"

It's interesting how the father was offended by an advertisement that he believed had nothing to do with his family - that is exactly what would happen if the advertisements were not targeted. Damned if you do...

A game for Atheists- Name one thing that has benefited mankind from Christianity.

The town I grew up in was largely built by a local Abbot about 800 years ago, moving people from an area that regularly flooded to a drier and safer area. The reason he did that was because the town was growing around the local cathedral. I can think of plenty of examples of all religions...

    Why do you post?

Force of habit. I still enjoy some of the threads here, but most of the time I log in because it's one of the sites I usually visit. I'm not arguing, though.

    Always Atheism vs Christianity?

It's pretty much exactly the same as politics. There are two types of political party that get attention - the big parties in power and the smaller parties that are extreme enough to command attention. For those who are invested in politics, they're either defending or opposing another group -...
