  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What caused you to leave your church?

Our family left because women were teaching and then they even ordinated women. Also, the leaders are not making separation to things which are not Biblical. We have our first own service next Sunday with Word, prayer, Agape Meal and communion. We are not happy to leave. It is hard, but we are...

    Anabaptist Sermons & Lectures...

I have been listening teaching from Weavertown Amish Mennonite church. This was a thought-provoking teaching about how we should follow the New Testament in our life if we want to follow Christ Jesus, that is to be His disciples. You can find more from their site Sermons – Weavertown Amish...

    Peace!

Paul knew about Deborah. He knew the Bible (Old Testament). Paul's letters are fallible Word of God. New Covenant has a new thing: Ecclesia. The briefing is given in the New Testament, and there are some differences between Old Testament life and practices. For example, we do not have high...

    Peace!

Thank you for the encouragement for home fellowships etc. We might start something soon. But our pastor will be there too I think. He knows that I do not allow women to teach men. Still he ordinates woman. Equally I could say my Biblical view straight. I would like that we could be...

    Peace!

Thank you for your message! Yes, we should do our best. And we should not care outside the Bible what we think and what other people think but what is right before God. I have no problem to accept women as pastors, but it seems clear to me that Bible has and I want to follow it best I can. I do...

    Peace!

Paul writes it clearly, that woman should not teach men or have authority over men. I cannot take it as "only a cultural thing" after all examination. It needs more interpretation to say women can be pastors than otherwise. Deborah was in the Old Testament. Disciples of Jesus have different...

    Peace!

We are disappointed with our congregation which has women as teachers and recently a woman has blessed with pastoral job/title. We do not know what to do, because it is hard to go away without a better option and when you have friends. But we want to please God, not people. We want to love...
