    Embedded media player won't work...

Hi. I'm trying to embed an mp3 player on our church's site to play our pastor's sermons but nothing I use seems to work. I've tried nearly a half dozen and each one has problems. I've posted my question in coding forums but no one seems interested in helping me. The player I have now won't stay...

is christian fiction too tame ?

I love to read and write mysteries, but I dislike stories with profanity, gratuitous sex or graphic violence. These things in no way glorify the Lord. Yet for nearly all mainstream writers those things are virtually de rigueur. I have read quite a few "tame" stories which were exciting...

    know any Atheist jokes

In Florida , an atheist created a case against the upcoming Easter and Passover holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians, Jews and observances of their holy days. The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days. The case...

I need to optimize streaming audio for dial-up...

Hi. I embedded an audio object on my church's website in order to play the pastor's sermon. The audio file is 37 mb and I used the instructions from this site to set it up: http://nunzioweb.com/streaming_audio-example.htm . The embedded player works fine with a broadband connection but those...

Pat Robertson vs Chavez: Whom Would Jesus Assassinate?

The mainstream secular media will ignore every intelligent, truthful, serious, enlightening comment made by anyone claiming to be a Christian spokesperson. But as soon as someone says something off-the-wall, as Robertson did, it becomes the lead story of the day. Robertson's comment certainly...

Mozilla Firefox 1.0 has a bug with Christian Forums

To answer your question; yes MyIE2 merely piggybacks on IE and is subject to the same security flaws. I use FireFox 0.9.1 (as well as IE6) and I am very pleased with it. I am encountering more sites that are better viewed in FF. silas

any paint shop pro people here?

That's a nice tile vlinder. I've been using PSP7 for a couple of years now. I don't own PhotoShop but I have fooled around with it a bit; it has a much deeper learning curve than PSP and is considerably more expensive. A few folks in PSP forums rave about version 8 but I haven't felt the need...

    Links query...

This might sound like a simple question but I can't find a clear explanation of the difference between a:link & a:active. I understand a:visited & a:hover but the other two seem identical. Thanks. Silas

The movie "The Passion" is really a film about 9/11

I also think Shrek was a 9/11 metaphor, with the short prince being al Qaeda and the donkey representing Dick Cheney ;) Silas

    Methodist Court Rules on Homosexuality

Would you kindly give me your interpretation of the following Scripture: The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it...
