  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It is abundantly clear that you have no scientific knowledge. It is also clear that you do not know or care.

I'm not debating with you, I am providing everyone with data. Infact, I tend to agree with you.

    Are humans apes?

And that is exactly what 'they' are doing. Ignorance is bliss. So I am told. But wouldn't one rather learn about a subject. Wouldn't it be beneficial if you taught yourself about evolution, even if you only want to 'know your enemy'?? Check this out: http://evolution.berkeley.edu/

Good, these are adaptations to the environment - high concentrations of haemoglobin and myoglobin in muscles, deeper breathing, etc. These do support evolution. Since few land based mammals contain these adaptations.

The Definitive Layman's Debunking of Design

Didn't need lexus nexus (although I love that site). Here is an article comparing human lungs to fish gills: http://www.teresi.us/html/writing/fish_evolution.html Also, on another site I found out that whale lungs are 90 percent efficient.

Compared to what? Fish? I have found no data to support or refute that claim. I am still searching though. Next stop, Lexus Nexus.

The Definitive Layman's Debunking of Design

I think people have biases here. The efficiency of whale lungs far exceeds our own lungs and they have alternative ways to store oxygen when diving/submerged (additional storage of haemoglobin and myoglobin in muscle).

OK, so, where in Revelation does the Bible discribe this situation? Male and female atoms.... Thanks

    Intelligent Design advocacy strengthening ToE

I agree. Based on my research in geology and contact will other researchers, no one speaks about creationism and no-ones research is orientated to prove or falsifiy creationism. It only comes up in discussion when a student brings it up or an external e-mail comes in discussing or complaining...

    the flood of Noah

You still haven't provided evidence for your young crater in Arizona? I am not sure how old you understand the crater to be. In the first instance you insinuate a few thousand years, then you insinuate 20 to 50 thousand years. Current research suggests a crater age of approximately 50...
