I've read this thread with some interest as I'm involved with starting a pilot scheme in my community. Several churches are working together with the local council, police and social services. It's not about policing, or or "doing good". It's about being a presence on the street, building...

Great idea, but does the party have costed, viable policies? The party is very active here in Shetland, Praying for them!

3 weeks for definate, see orphanage work, meet some guys we've sponsored thro' Bible school, then hope to do medical clinic in South.

Hi evryone, Why do people assume that Compassion (or other agencies) puts conditions/strings on its' projects? They enable children to receive education/medical provision from church agencies on the ground. If they didn't do it, who would? I have listen to a wonderful story of how one girl...
